Kurt Blaine- age 10

Kurt's House:
Kurt walked up to his dad and sat next to him pouring himself a drink of apple juice "Dad? How come all the other boys my age are having crushes on girls and I'm not?"
Burt laughs a little "Well Kiddo you probably haven't found anyone you have a crush on. You don't just get a crush you have to have feelings for them."
Kurt nods "Does it have to be a girl?"
Burt put down his drink and looked at his son "No they can be a girl or a boy, some people even get feelings for both."
Kurt sighs "Would you be mad if I didn't crush on a girl?"
Burt shook his head "All I care about is for you to find someone who will treat you right and love you."
Kurt smiles "So it's not wrong to have feelings for boys then?"
Burt nods "Exactly, just be 10 for now though there is no reason for you to rush in finding out who you like. If it turns out you like boys tell me ok don't be afraid because people will talk about you and I'll be here for you if it upsets you ok?"
Kurt hugs his dad tightly "Ok, Thank you dad I Love you."
Burt taped his sons back "Love you to kiddo."

Blaine's House
Blaine went up to his dad and stood in front of him "Dad would it ok if I sit with you and have a conversation with you about something please?"
Blake nods "Yes Blaine because you used your manners this time anything before we start?"
Blaine felt proud of himself after what his dad said "Please could I get some apple juice out of the fridge?"
Blake smiles "Yes hurry up though this will have to be quick I have to get to work."
Blaine came back once again stood in the same spot Blake spoke "Take a seat and we can start."
Blaine sat on the couch and began "Ok I was wondering why boys my age are having crushes and I'm not?"
Blake nods "It's ok you're still young the right girl will come along someday. You'll get married and have kids and you'll be fine Blaine don't worry."
Blaine tilts his head "What if it wasn't a Girl I wanted to marry?"
Blake closed his computer "That is nonsense you have to marry a girl liking boys is wrong Blaine and I will not allow it in my house. Don't ever mention the possibility again you hear me being gay is not something you should be doing with your life."
Blaine nods "Yes dad I'm sorry I just heard someone mention it at school. I was just curious I'm sorry."
Blake's face softened "I'm sorry son I understand you're a kid and hearing something as shocking as that you would have questions. Don't worry about it Blaine it is nothing worth your time to think about ok?"
Blaine smiles "Ok what do I need to know about it then?"
Blake pats his sons head "All you need to know is it's wrong and you should never choose that for your life."
Blaine got off the coach "Ok thanks dad see you after work."
Blake nods "I'll see you in the morning I'm working late mom should be home soon though ok?"
Blaine smiles widely "Ok see you at breakfast then dad."

Age- 14
Kurt sighs "Dad why do people have to be so mean to me?"
Burt shrugs not knowing how to answer "I don't know Kiddo what are they saying to you?"
Kurt frowns "They keep calling me a word binging with an F I don't know what it means."
Burt knew what they called him "Kurt it is an offensive word against gay people so they are bullying you because they think you're gay."
Kurt looks down "You said being gay wasn't a bad thing we had a whole conversation about it last week when I thought I had a crush on a boy I didn't but still."
Burt hugs him tightly "It's not and if you figure out that is who you are remember that it is completely fine." He let go "I love you kiddo so hold your head up high and don't let them bully you. No one pushes the Hummel's around right?"
Kurt smiles "Right!"

Blaine's home
Blaine walks up to his dad blood coming out of his nose "Look dad I don't care that you don't expect me I wish you did but please help me out." He wiped his nose on his sleeve "I know you still love me no matter what you say I know you don't want to see me suffering."
Blake nods "Blaine you are a disappointment to this family but you're right I don't want to see you suffer so I'm gonna help you straighten out. I'm sending you to Dalton Academy. You won't get bullied there but you will learn the right way to behave."
Blaine raised an eyebrow "You're sending me to an all boys school?"
Blake sighs "Don't be getting any ideas this will be good for you I got you a private dorm so that is we're you will spend your free time you hear me."
Blaine hugs his dad "I know you don't like me hugging you so I'm gonna make this quick." To Blaine's surprise his dad tapped him on the back "Thank you dad even if it isn't the way I want you to love me but you're trying in your own way."
Blake rolls his eyes "don't push it start packing tell cooper to come down we're going to go play football you'll be ok by yourself right?"
Blaine had started to be uninvited to going to play football ever since he came out. It upset him he loved football but most importantly he loved his dad but knows his relationship will never be the same again. "Sure dad and no I'll be fine." It was a lie I would probably cry when his dad and brother left but he wasn't going to tell him that.

Age- 16
Blaine let his tears fall he had been doing this often a boy sat next to him "Is this anyway for a star performer to be acting like?"
Blaine smiles "No kurt it's not but you can't be here." Blaine had met Kurt a couple months ago he is honestly the best thing to ever happen to him.
Kurt smirked "I can if I'm a student here."
Blaine practically jumped on him "Kurt that is so good! But also sad because it means...."
Kurt cut him off "It's fine I'm safe now I don't want to think about it, so why are you crying?"
Blaine shook his head "It's nothing you wouldn't understand anyway."
Kurt looked slightly offended "Try me?"
Blaine nods "Mine and my dads relationship hasn't been the same since I came out when I was 14. He uses to take cooper and I to play football and he only takes coop now. The reason I was crying was because I asked him if he would come and see my boxing match he said he was busy. I always hope he'll see what he is doing but I know he never will."
Kurt didn't understand what he was going through his dad loved him and had made sure that he knew that if he did turn out to be gay ti not hide it so he never did "I'm sorry Blaine that must be really hard but I'm sure when you get a boyfriend and he sees you happy he'll be there for you."
Blaine shrugs "Maybe but your family is pretty cold and they have let me in so I think I'll be fine no matter what happens."
