A/N - This is on request by Ireddy, a chapter on Palash, hope you like it ❤️
There's no message in this chapter, nothing much happens- well except if you don't already have kids, then you may want to reconsider :P

Being the youngest in a family- that too a large, joint family of 12 people, has its own pros and cons!
Palash Singh Raizada was experiencing that today.
Because he was left at the mercy of his 4 elder siblings, and a pet dog almost his age!
Technically there were a few other people too but the "responsible adults" aka Payal and Khushi were out and thus, Palash who was soon going to turn 3 was to be looked after by his eldest sister Piya- almost 10, Chiku- 8 and a half, Arohi and Pari-5 respectively!
The thing was Buaji's house in Lakshmi Nagar was to be shown for rent to some potential tenants. And as Buaji used to be mostly living in Lucknow these days along with Shashi and Garima, Khushi and Payal had volunteered to do so.
Although the men were at office, Arnav and Aakash were instructed to come home sooner and they were already on their way.
Nani ji was running fever and resting while Mamiji had gone for a kitty party!
That left only the Prakash brothers and other housekeeping staff.
Palash looked between his Piyu Di, Chiku bhaiyya, aaloo (that's what he called Aru in his baby-language) and pie (aka Pari)!
"Ok, so mamma has said she and Khushi maasi will be back in one hour and we have to look after Golu." Piya said, in a serious voice.
Oh yeah, that was another story. So, apparently it was mandatory for all Raizada kids to have nicknames in Raizada mansion. At least until they turned old enough to be embarrassed by it and refused to be acknowledged by it (err- except Chote i.e, Arnav- whose only unsuccessful venture in life was getting rid of his 'cool' nickname by his Nani!).
And you had to have more than 1 petname!
So, Piya was called Piyu, gudiya, baby (the firstborn of the house remains a baby by default) etc, Kavish was Chiku, kishu, laddugopal, Pari- well that itself was a nickname apart from her parents calling her angel or shona, and Aru was simba, laddu and what not (Arnav sometimes even called her 'monkey' because she used to always cling to Khushi like baby-monkey does to its mother).
By the time Palash was born, most nicknames were taken.
And that was when his Dada ji i.e. Mama ji, started calling him Golu! Because Palash was indeed gol-matol, with very squishy cheeks, cute round face, pudgy hands, and healthy baby weight... So, that would be his nickname until almost a decade later when Pari would start calling Aru as Tinu and Palash who adored Aru would ask to be called Pinu to rhyme with her name!
But for now, he was their Golu.
"Yeah! So, its playtime, right? Let's play catch-catch. He likes it too!" Chiku suggested, bouncing the soft rubber basketball and mock throwing it towards Palash who laughed at that trick. But in agreement with his cool bhaiyya!
Piya wiggled her nose in displeasure, "No, Kishu! What do mamma and maasi say? First study, then play." she said in serious tone, adjusting her glasses. She had recently been diagnosed with weak eyesight and had to wear specs regularly. Much like her Papa.
