Spotlight (Pride)

Quirk: Spotlight

Quirk Type: Emitter

Quirk Class: Light

Ability - The user absorbs the light from around them in a mile radius, however light is not absorbed in areas the users vision is obstructed. So if the user can see from a full mile radius, the area within that mile now becomes dim, emulating a sunset in brightness. But if the user is in an enclosed room, the entire room will be pitch black. Except for the area around the user. The user has a sphere of light that glows around them. The more light they have absorbed, the bigger it is. It can expand up to five metres away from the user. When the user has their quirk activated with the bright sphere around them, they have insane durability and resistance. The user isn't granted super strength but can compete with those who do as their added strength does nothing to the user. The user can stay unmoving behind a jet plane taking off and even ignore burning in lava. The user can also flash people who are in range of the light sphere around the user to blind them. People in the sphere get sense of an overwhelming presence making it harder to move and being in the sphere causes burns very quickly to those in it. Additionally, if the user has absorbed enough light, they seem to be given a resistance to gravity. The user can fly although it is slow, but they can hover as fast as they can run without loosing stamina.

Combat Range: Close

Disadvantage/s: - The user can't do stealth as they are a glowing beacon as they make everything around them dark.

- This quirk becomes significantly weaker at night. Not unusable as they still are granted light from the moons reflection. But even with other sources, their durability and flash ability is minimal.

Special Moves: God Blink - The user has the ability to blind enemies when they enter their sphere of light. But the user also has the ability to move it. They user can turn that sphere of light into a large beam. The beam blinds enemies and it burns them. It also grants them an overwhelming presence that makes it more difficult to move.

Hero/Villain Name ideas: Pride, Feature, Centre, Great Sun

My Input (not necessary): This quirk is based off of the deadly sin pride. Where being prideful isn't necessarily apart of this quirk, it takes the ideas of being pride. Being the best and at the focus of everything. Sure someone may physically be stronger then the user, but in a fight, the user would take every hit without a scratch. The person with this quirk would probably be very prideful as well. Maybe not the best idea for a pride kind of quirk but I really like it.
