Chapter 75: Agency Sleepover

He's awake.

I felt more tears stream down my face.

"Y/n?" He was looking at me, "What's wro-"

I cut him off by sitting up from my chair and hugging him.

"H-hey... what's wrong?" I hear him say.

I felt like I was about to cry more.

He pulled away from the hug and looked at me. He wiped the tears with his thumb. "Please stop crying, Y/n..."

"I can't help it.." I say through sobs.

He hugged me and pulled me on the bed.

He hugged me tighter.

I continued crying.

I felt him run his fingers through my hair.

"I-I got scared and worried... And..."

"Shh... It's okay." He said assuringly.

I cried more. "I could've stopped what happened!"

"You didn't know. It's okay."

"No, it's not!"

"Y/n... It's okay. You don't have to keep blaming yourself.."

"But it is my fault!"

"It's not."

"It is!"

I wrapped my arms around him tighter and continued crying.

I felt him rub my back.

"If anything happened to you..." I mumble.

"I'm fine, Y/n."

"No, it's like you said! People aren't usually fine when they say they are!"

"I am. Don't worry."

I pull away and look at him.

I sniffle and wipe the tear on my face. "I-i'm sorry... I shouldn't have been so careless.... I'm probably being over dramatic right now."

"It's okay. It's good to let it all out." He said and wiped another tear on my face. "Do you remember what happened?"

"I remember finding out I killed someone."

"... How'd you resist my ability?"

I look away.

"Y/n.." Dazai said.

I look at him.

"Could you please answer?"

I sighed and explained to him how The Red Wired Room worked.

"That's a really good advantage to you." Dazai said.

I slowly nodded.

"How long have I been asleep?"

"2 days."

"Did you also pass out?"

"Yeah.."

"When did you wake up?" He asked.

"Yesterday afternoon..."

He looked at the ceiling.

I stared at the ceiling also.

"What time is it?" He asked.

I grabbed my phone and checked the time.

7:30.

"It's 7:30..." I mumble.

"You look like you haven't slept in days." He looked at me.

"I got sleep last night." I say.
