Chapter 114: A Visit to Texas

I opened my eyes whenever I heard the alarm go off.

"No..." Me and Dazai mumbled in unison.

"Why can't our bodies just walk around and do what we want while we sleep..." I mumbled.

Dazai's arms were around my waist while I was hugging him.

"Let's just... Get Atsushi to carry us to the airport.." Dazai mumbled.

I nodded, "And get Kenji to get our suitcases.."

"Yeah..."

"Wait, nope. We can't think that way. Get up." I sat up. "We can sleep on the way there."

"No... I wanna stay in the futon with you.." He hugged my waist tighter.

"Osamu. C'mon, get up."

"No.."

"You won't get your morning kiss."

He immediately sat up.

"That's what I thought." I kissed him.

He grabbed the back of my head and pulled me closer to his face.

I pulled away, "Is this your favorite time of the day or something?"

"And my goodnight kiss, but besides that, yes."

"Alright, let's hurry. We don't have long to get ready."

Me and Dazai walked inside the airport.

Whenever Dazai was brushing his teeth, I relocated the book and placed it in the back of the closet whenever I needed to get my suitcase.

Atsushi and the others spotted us.

"About time." Kunikida said, "We're already 3 minutes behind schedule."

"Hey, Lucy. What's America like?" Kenji asked Lucy.

"Not now." Fukuzawa said, "Let's hurry before we miss the flight."

I sat down in a seat while Dazai sat beside me. Kenji was to my left and Dazai was to my right.

"Woah!" Kenji exclaimed while looking out the window. "I wonder how everyone in the village would react if I told them about an airplane!"

I smiled and heard the pilot from the speaker.

"We will be taking off in 3 minutes." The pilot said.

I opened my eyes and realized I fell asleep earlier.

I was leaning against Dazai. He had his arm around me and was using his coat as a blanket for me.

He was asleep.

I looked to my left and see Kenji leaning against me.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, this is your captain speaking." The pilot said, "We have arrived in Corpus Christi, Texas."

I saw Kenji sit up, and Dazai woke up.

I grabbed my phone and texted S/n.

We all stepped out of the airport.

"Geez," Atsushi panted, "It's so humid.."

I noticed someone in a car. I recognized the person inside.

S/n stepped out. "Hey, you guys."

We were all crammed inside S/n's car. She had a front row where she was driving, a back row where Poe, Ranpo, Akiko, Karl, Fukuzawa, and Atsushi were crammed. Me and the others were in the row behind the back row trying to get air.
