TICK TOCK GOES THE CLOCK,
———
Tick.

Tock.

Tick.

Tock.

"Mona draw the curtains..." I mumbled, turning my face and smushing it in the pillows.

Tick.

Tock.

Tick.

Tock.

"Mona it's too bright in here." I whined again.

Tick.

Tock.

Tick.

Tock.

"Mona!" I shouted into the pillow.

"Ramona?" I said less sleepily snapping my head up from my pillow suddenly gaining consciousness...

Too bright? On a November morning?

The dorm was completely empty and sun was streaming through the windows onto messily made and vacant beds...and starting to seep onto the one I was still in.

I felt my eyes quickly widen. Hair stuck to my cheek and sleep marks all over my arms from the creases in my bedding were blatant proof of my deep slumber.

Tick.

Tock.

Ti-

"Oh shit!" I said with an almost aggressive level of shock. My half asleep demeanour being forced into frantic energy.

I scrambled out of bed, body still a little limp from deep sleep and made my way onto soft, unbalanced feet; my duvet and pillows making their way to the floor with the quick movement too.

I slipped on the floor in my bed socks, regaining balance by clinging onto my bedpost and vaulted myself towards my truck, throwing the lid open with a violence.

"No, no, no." I said quietly in a loud amount of panic as I started chucking the uniform I needed onto the floor beside me.

I snapped my head towards the clock that was above the main door to the dorm.

"Oh no!" I said in such a panicked tone I felt my throat strain under the pressure I was feeling.

It was third period.

The lesson between break and lunch.

"Potions." I almost cried in the hurry.
