UNTIL NEXT YEAR, (Part two) Regulus' POV ———
"Just let him in." Evan laughed. Though he was thoroughly enjoying the show.
Barty and I held the door firmly closed. Ensuring Severus Snape couldn't enter.
"There's no other spare seats." He said on the other side, again.
"What's the magic word?" Barty sung.
Pandora was too busy laughing to say anything, though she agreed with Evan.
I'd rather Snape sat his skinny, half blood backside on the floor outside. He's been pushing his luck too confidently lately, to be met with any kind of civility.
Evan stood up from his seated position near the window. Pandora and Evan had claimed opposite sides, to wave goodbye Hogwarts for the year. Which I thought was mildly embarrassing and irritating, as I usually say by the window.
But in a desperate attempt to lift the mood, Barty and I found ourselves playing with Severus Snape. Though seemingly without him having fun; which meant it felt even more fun for me.
His comments around my apparent feelings for Grace, in front of her, made me want to do more than shut him out of a train carriage.
Evan shoved both Barty and I to the side by our heads. Parting us easily, with a force that meant both of us sat down opposite each other in the train seats.
The carriage door wobbled open with the difference in force, and Severus almost lost his balance. Causing both Barty and I to snigger like naughty children, victorious in our attempt to cause a little trouble.
Snape walked in. Holding his head high, despite his anxious narrow gaze.
"Trust me," he said, taking a seat next to Pandora. "You weren't my first choice."
"Quite persistent for a last resort, Snape." I said, a playfulness in my voice. As I still run off the high of teasing him. "Almost seemed as if you were desperate to sit with us."
He huffed and rolled his eyes, pulling out that tatty potions book he always carried. Alongside a separate notebook, full of scribbles.
Barty, who was now sitting next to Snape, looked over his shoulder.
"Sectum Sempra, what's what?" Barty frowned. Snape instantly snapped his book closed, with a suspicious secrecy.
I thought about it. For a second. The saying 'I mustn't touch' being drilled into my very existence. But I had to.
I quickly leant over and snatched the book out of his hands.
Snape let out a sound of mixed vowels. Not being able to put together a word, with his worry.
Though Evan was kind enough to let him in, and have no issues with us sitting together. He held out his want to Severus, making sure I had the time I wanted to flick through the pages.
