"Don't carry everything at once." Leo scowled his brother lightly as he put the two plates in front of Casey and April. Mikey laughed nervously as he put the plates he was holding in front of Donnie and Shadow. "Hey, where's Raph at?" Casey asked, causing the brothers to freeze. Shadow noticed their distress and immediately stood up. "I'll go look for him, he couldn't have gone far." Shadow said as she walked out of the room, Donnie watched her leave and slowly reached his hand to Shadow's plate, quickly grabbing her pancakes and putting it onto his plate. But back with Shadow, she hummed as she decided to look in the living room first. But he wasn't there. He wasn't in Donnie's lab either, not in the dojo, and not in the bathrooms. Shadow hummed as she held her chin, looking to Raph's bedroom door. She shrugged her shoulders and knocked on the door, waiting a few seconds before she began to slightly worry. "Hey Raph? It's Shadow, we're done messing around and Mikey made pancakes." Shadow said.

But after getting no reaction, Shadow sighed and grabbed the doorknob. "I'm coming in." She announced before opening the door slightly. Shadow peeked inside and hummed as she saw the lights had been turned off. Shadow then opened the door fully and sighed as she saw a giant lump on Raph's bed, a blanket covering it. Shadow walked in and closed the door behind her. She turned a lamp she had found, on, and then sat on the bed. Shadow remained silent as she felt the lump shifting, Raph was definitely under it. "You can come out, I already found Donnie." Shadow said with smile. "You didn't hit his shell, did you?" Raph mumbled; Shadow shook her head. "Nope, Leo told me not to. Does confuse me why." Shadow said, remaining still as Raph sat up. The blanket was still draped on his shoulders and head, but his face you could see. "It's cause he's softshell. He wears these thing's he calls 'Battle Shells' that he uses to protect his back." Raph said, Shadow was surprised by this.

"Is anyone else a softshell turtle?" Shadow asked, hoping she hadn't hurt any of them on accident. "Nope, Mikey's a box turtle. Leo's a red ear slider and I'm an alligator snapping turtle." Raph said with a grin, causing Shadow to sigh in relief. "Good." Shadow said, Raph then tugs his blanket off and got off the bed, causing Shadow to yelp as Raph's weight made the bed shift. "Oops, sorry." Raph said as he helped Shadow off the bed and onto her own feet. "You mentioned something about pancakes?" Raph said with a grin as Shadow dusted herself off. "Huh? Of yeah, Mikey made some pancakes." Shadow said, Raph smiled brightly and picked Shadow up again. "Then let's go!" Raph said and began to dash to the kitchen, the action made Shadow smile a bit as Raph then stopped at the kitchen entrance and set Shadow down nicely.

But when Shadow looked up, Raph and she watched the scene before them with confusion. "These are Shadow's pancakes! You already ate her first ones!" Mikey yelled as he tried to keep another plate of Pancakes away from Donnie by using his foot. April, Casey and Leo just watched from the table as Raph smirked a bit. "Does this usually happen?" Shadow asked Raph. "Oh yeah." Raph said with a smug smile. After a bit, everyone finally got their pancakes and just talked about they'd all do today. "I gotta reorganize my lab, assuming Raph knocked a few things over." Donnie said with a slightly annoyed grin, Raph laughed nervously. "Yeah, that's my fault, I'll help you out." Raph offered as Mikey smiled. "I should probably make a grocery run, wanna join me Mikey?" Leo said as he leaned against the table. "Yeah, I need to restock on some spices." Mikey admitted, confusion filling Shadow's face as she realized all the brothers were going to be busy doing something.

April noticed and hummed as she rubbed chin. "Speaking of shopping, maybe Shadow can join me and Casey on our trip to the Mystic City!" April offered with a bright grin; Casey looked at April confused. "Wait, what?" Casey asked, April's brows furrowed slightly as she kicked Casey's leg. "OW! I mean, what time are we going?" Casey said with a nervous smile, getting the message real fast. April and Casey were supposed to be training, but both knew how Donnie was with his lab. When he cleans it, only the people helping are allowed inside. Mikey would be gone with Leo and Shadow didn't have anything that would hide her arms and face better than the sleeveless hoodie she had on currently. "Not to mention, they can get you some stuff for your room Splintz gave you the other day." Donnie said, a grin on his face as Casey and April nodded. Shadow looked at everyone with confusion before shrugging her shoulders. "Alright, so long as I don't have to try on random clothes." Shadow said, causing April and Casey to yell in celebration and grab her wrist. "Let's go see what we can work with!" April said as she and Casey dragged Shadow out of the kitchen. The brothers watched silently before they looked at each other.

"We should probably give them a money limit, April and Casey don't really know when they over do things." Donnie said, the brothers agreed and began to think what a reasonable limit could be. Meanwhile, April kicked open Shadow's bedroom door and looked at it with disgust. Casey looked inside and sighed, putting her hands onto her hips as Shadow just looked at the room. It had a bed with a single pillow on it. A large brown dresser rested on one wall: April's eye twitched at the lack of creativity in the room. "It looks a little plain." Shadow admitted, April just closed the door and sighed. "Okay, we'll to my place and see if we have any extra stuff, I could give you." April said and led both girls out, Shadow waved to the brothers before she was dragged out by Casey. Once they did get to the surface, they saw it was daytime. "My place shouldn't be too far from here; we can get there if we take the alleys." April explained as Shadow quickly hid behind a dumpster.

"Probably the better idea, humans are normally on their roof tops at this time." Casey explained as Shadow pulled her hood up. April helped lead the way as Casey made sure there wasn't anyone to notice Shadow. Once they did make it to April's apartment, she told Casey to lead Shadow to April's bedroom. April would go into the apartment and open her window after making sure her mom wasn't here. Casey nodded and helped Shadow to a fire escape, both going up it as April headed into the apartment. With such luck, the apartment was empty with a note from April's mother. Shadow carefully crawled in and made sure to be careful where stepped, just in case. "Okay, I'll go check my mom's closet for any baggy clothes for Shadow. You check our closet." April said as she gestured to Casey, who gave April a thumbs up before directing Shadow to April's closet. April and Casey stayed in the same room so most items for a teen girl would be in the closet.

"I do know that April has some band posters in here." Casey said as she pulled out some boxes. Shadow sat on April's bed and watched silently, looking around and noticing a radio. Shadow had seen one of these before, so she pushed a button that would pop open where the music disc would be placed. Shadow was very careful to pull the disc out and look at the name. "Santana -Into the Night, ft. Chad Kroeger." Shadow read quietly, looking up and seeing Casey sighing in defeat. "Can I play this?" Shadow asked, Casey looked up and saw Shadow was pointing to the disc. "Oh, yeah, go ahead. It's just some music me and April listen to when we study." Casey said with a shrug, Shadow put the music disc back in and played it, waiting quietly before the music began to play. Shadow listened to it while Casey went back to the closet, humming the song a bit as she pulled another out. Apparently, April heard the music as she walked into the doorway.

Shadow looked up as April just looked into the room. "I like this song." Shadow said as she stayed still. "I guess you can take the radio then, I don't use it and I doubt Casey does since our finals are over now." April said with a shrug and looked at her phone after she pulled it out. "I can look for some more music with that same singer in my mom's closet, she listens to his music on her phone but still has the music discs." April said and then headed out as Shadow looked at the radio, smiling a little as the music kept playing.
