Usagi exposes Shadow

After everyone was done chewing Leo out for helping Usagi, Splinter yet again announced it was time for everyone to get some shuteye. "You guys sure you'll be fine?" Mikey asked as April and Cass were getting ready to head home. "We'll be fine guys. Besides, I got this thing and Cassandra's got her hockey sticks." April pointed out as she held her green bat. She had grabbed it during the scavenger hunt with Cassandra. "Alright, just, use your help button if you see that Miyamoto guys shows up." Donnie said with a worried expression, one that April picked up on. She smiled and punched his shoulder softly. "You don't gotta worry about us, D. I promise." April said, Cassandra then said by to everyone else and both headed off. "Do you really think that Miyamoto guy will try to attack us? He literally helped Leo with those flowers." Cass asked as she kicked a soda can.

"Honestly, I don't know." April admitted as she tossed her bat into the air and caught it. "He has stated that he doesn't want to hurt us, that he's only after Shadow." Cassandra said, April looked at the ground as the two walked into their apartment building. "I guess it would be weird that he sends those flowers after he attacked us all. Not to mention he did grab those extra flowers because Leo knew we were gonna grab them." Cassandra said as she pushed the elevator button. "Not to mention Leo admitted Usagi knew what they could do with Mystic weapons, which worked since he used his katana's powers to send us those flowers." April said, both stayed silent as the elevator finally came up to their floor. "Maybe we should sleep on this, think about it with a clearer mind set." Cassandra admitted as she and April headed into their apartment. April nodded and was shocked a little by Cassandra's suggestion. Cassandra acts so extra and loud so often that you sometimes forget that Cassandra can be wise when it comes your body and mental health.

April and Cassandra headed to bed and made too sure to give Donnie a heads up that both arrived at the apartment safely. The minute Cassandra had gotten into her bed, she crashed and began to snore. April smirked and rolled her eyes while taking her pigtails out. While Cassandra had a place of her own, Cassandra would usually fall asleep at Aprils when finals had come up. Cassandra passing out at the apartment happened so often that Coral eventually bought Cassandra a bed to sleep in so Cass wouldn't have to sleep on the couch. April then set her glasses onto her nightstand and began to scroll through some human social media before heading to bed. It was probably midnight before April sighed and turned her phone off, plugging it in and getting ready to go to bed. But as she was about to fall asleep, April gasped softly as some small vines grew in from her window.

April rubbed her eyes and looked over to see the vines were still there. She looked over at Cassandra, the girl was still pasted out. April narrowed her eyes as she headed over to the window and opened it, following the vines to her roof. She gasped softly as she saw Usagi sitting on the fire escape, he was silent and didn't move as both stared at each other. Usagi then rose his katana, which had been lodged into the fire escape, and then put it back into his side scabbard. "I just want to talk." Usagi said, trying not to seem threatening. April eyed him carefully before looking back inside the apartment, Cassandra only twitching a bit as she remained asleep. April sighed and climbed through the rest of the window and headed up the fire escape. Usagi was already on the rooftop and waited for her silently.

"How do you know I live here?" April asked with sass as she made sure to keep her distance. "I followed you home the night of our fight. That and Leonardo told me you lived on the surface with your friend Casey." Usagi said, April narrowed her eyes. "Cassandra." April hissed, Usagi looked up and raised a brow. "Her name is Cassandra, only her friends call her Casey." April said, Usagi rose both hands. "Sorry, Cassandra it is then." Usagi admitted but noticed how April still didn't trust him. Usagi hummed as he looked around and then remembered his katana. He unbuckled it from his waisted ad set it onto the ground, April watching him quietly as Usagi kicked his katana far from him and April. "Trust me now?" Usagi asked with slight annoyance. "A little." April admitted. "Okay, I came here to warn you about De Milo. That and to apologize I couldn't fully stay true to my side of the deal between me and Leonardo." Usagi admitted, April stood in confusion.

"What else did you promise to do?" April asked. "I promised to reveal De Milo's full name." Usagi said, then reached into his short cloak and pulled out a file. "Look, I understand that what happened between you and Shadow was bad, but she isn't a bad guy!" April yelled as Usagi looked up at her. "Oh yeah? Then do you know what her old rank was?" Usagi asked with annoyance, starting to think this was pointless. "Yeah, she was Big Mama's assassin." April said as she folded her arms across her chest but faltered when Usagi laughed dryly. "Is that what she told you?" Usagi said as he opened the file and began to go through some papers. "Why should I believe you? I know she was an assassin, and she wants to change, that's all that should matter." April said, but Usagi looked up at her and closed the file. "Being an assassin was one of the things she use to be. But most other times, she was a spy. Seeking intel on others and acting like she their friend so that she can destroy them on the inside." Usagi said as he held the file close to his chest.

April looked to the side and bit her lip. "Even if that's the case and Shadow really still works for Big Mama, how do you plan to prove Shadow is a bad guy?" April asked, Usagi noticed her nervous frown and held the file up. "I actually have her rank file right here. I managed to grab it from Big Mama's hotel while she was busy trying to rebuild her hotel." Usagi said and then slid it to April, the file bumping into her foot as nothing fell out of the folder. April picked it up and looked at Usagi, seeing he hadn't bothered to retrieve his katana still. April then looked at the file again before opening it, her eyes going wide as April saw a photo of Shadow in her work attire. "This can't be real...." April said and looked up at Usagi in fear.

"Now do you see why I was so hostile towards De Milo? Why I did everything in my power to give you and your friends a chance to leave when he and she fought?" Usagi said, frowning deeply as he put both hands to his chest. April looked at the file in fear as Usagi frowned. "I don't want to see another family get hurt by De Milo and her actions." Usagi said, April slammed the book shut and stared at the cover. She was silent for a moment and looked at Usagi with narrowed eyes. "I'll tell my friends tomorrow when she and Mikey go to the Mystic City. That should give me enough time to convince them, and we'll call you and let you deal with Shadow." April said, surprising Usagi but he nodded. He walked over to his katana and picked up his weapon, stopping himself before turning to April with a sad frown. "I'm sorry you had to figure out who De Milo truly is." He then jumped off the building and raced off.

The Next day....

Everyone watched silently as Shadow sat in a chair, her arm outstretched onto a table as Donnie made sure the needle he prepared to use, was clean. April looked over at Leo and saw his narrowed eyes, she began to wonder if Leo knew what she did. Either way, April remained silent as she turned back to Shadow, who was being comforted by Mikey as he patted her shoulder. Donnie then turned to Shadow, needle in hand as he frowned at Shadow. "I'll try to make this a painless as possible." Donnie said, cleaning the area he plans to stick the needle in Shadow's arm. Shadow closed her eyes as Donnie stuck the needle into Shadow's arm and tried to remain calm as Mikey hugged Shadow's arm. Donnie smiled as he then pulled the needle out and placed a band-aid on Shadow's arm. "Congratulations Shadow." Donnie said, causing Shadow to open her eyes and gasp softly.

"Donnie placed the blood he had taken from Shadow and put it into a vial. He held the vial up and smirked at Shadow. "You're gonna meet you family and know your actual name." Donnie said and handed the vial to Shadow as everyone, but April and Leo cheered loudly. April smiled while clapping as Leo smirked at Shadow. "I'm really gonna meet them." Shadow said with a smile, something that caused Mikey to laugh loudly.
