The Unknown Hashira (Demon Slayer x Reader)

[3: Questions]

Ever since the hashira meeting started, there has been no disturbances that happened. Well, apart from the occasional staring that the hashiras does. Especially, when the Unknown Hashira is right beside them. 

"My beloved children, I look forward to your success." Ubuyashiki ended the meeting, he looked at Y/n and smiled. "How about you, Y/n? How was your intense mission?" 

All the hashiras looked at Y/n and saw them eating something, they soon realized that they're eating mochi. "My mission wasn't intense, Ubuyashiki-sama. It was easy, the only thing that is intense about that is the food situation! I wasn't able to eat anything for 3 days!" Y/n answered, making everyone shocked. 

"You weren't able to eat for 3 days? How were you able to defeat those demons?" Mitsuri asked, her voice laced with concern. "Wouldn't you be weak if you don't eat for that long?"

"Don't worry, my fellow hashira, I was able to defeat the demons in that area. They're only a lower moon, after all." They all gasped when they heard that. "Hmm? Why is everyone shocked? Is a lower moon demon too much for you to handle?" 

After that sentence, some of them are irritated while the other is amazed. How strong is the Unknown Hashira? "I also want to clarify something, Ubuyashiki-sama." Y/n spoke. 

"Go on, Y/n. What is it?" 

"About Tanjiro Kamado. Is anyone fascinated to train him?" Y/n asked, the others looked at them with confusion. "If no one is interested in him, I can train him under my wing." Y/n spoke confidently, making the others appalled. 

"I'm currently treating him under my care, Y/n-san." Shinobu said, Y/n looked at her and started laughing. "Why... are you laughing?" 

"If that's the case, then can I have him when he's treated? As I remember, his lungs must be having a difficult time from what Obanai did." The said man immediately flinched. "I also don't want to train an injured child. That would make me angry." 

The others don't know if they would be scared or amazed by the person beside them. They also can't believe that they're not complaining about the boy with a demon. "Are you not going to complain about the boy's situation?" Gyomei asked. 

"Hmm, why would I complain? The master already made a decision, I can't possibly refuse the master's judgment, can I?" Y/n calmly said. "I'm not like you young lings that thought they could refuse the master." 

"Y/n, my child. Don't tease your underclassmen so much, you do know that they're a hashira like you." Ubuyashiki said, Y/n immediately bowed at Ubuyashiki. "Even if you have more experience than them, you must not treat them like that." Ubuyashiki added. 

"I apologize, Master, I should've watched my words before I spoke. This will never happen again." Y/n said, and Ubuyashiki smiled, nodding at them. "I apologize to my fellow slayers as well. Forgive me for the words I've said." Y/n added. 

Everyone is shocked because of a certain word. Underclassmen. Does that mean this hashira is way older than them? "Oi, Y/n." Sanemi spoke, making Y/n look at him. 

"How old are you?" He asked the same question that is running in everyone's mind. "The rumors about you has been going on for years, don't you think you have some explaining to do?" Sanemi asked, they all looked at Y/n. 

Y/n did not speak, but instead, they started chuckling. This chuckling turned into laughter, they're all worried if the hashira has some loose screw in their head. Then their laughter stopped, they sighed and looked at the others. 

"I've been a hashira for longer than you could imagine. I don't think you would want to know how long it is." They said, making everyone shiver. "You might kill me if you know what I really am." 

Everyone is confused. The question is answered, but not in the way that they like. It seems like the answer just made them more confused. They all looked at Ubuyashiki for answers, but saw him walking away. 

"Seems like the Master will rest now. We shall go out of the room and continue with our day." Y/n declared, opening the door and going out of the raging sun.

Shinobu just finished talking to Rengoku about his new mission, she noticed that Y/n is ordering their kakushis to clean the garden. She walked towards Y/n and poked whatever body part she could reach. The hashira looked down at her and tilted their head. 

"Oh, Kocho. How are you?" The hashira asked, patting Shinobu's head. "I... heard about your sister. I apologize I wasn't there when that happened. Your sister is a brave and strong hashira, I'm proud of her." Shinobu looked down and nodded, not wanting to reminisce what happened to her sister. 

"Also, what do you want to ask me? You look troubled." Y/n asked, and Shinobu looked up with a smile. Y/n noticed that Shinobu's smile looks... fake and not pure. 

"I wanted to ask where your mansion is! So, if Tanjiro and the others are healed up, then I can give them your address." Shinobu said, everyone else is curious where the Unknown hashira resides. 

"Oh, my mansion is very far away from yours. They might need to travel for days before they can reach me." Shinobu is shocked at what she heard. "Do you remember the training ground? The training ground where there are a lot of demons? My mansion is near there." 

"A lot of demons? Where are they?" Sanemi asked, wanting to know about the demons. "Do you need assistance?" 

The Unknown hashira chuckled at what Sanemi said, making the man angry. "Oh, I don't need any assistance. My kakushis and I already killed all the demons in that place. That is already MY lair." Y/n spoke, making everyone gasp. 

"Does that mean they need to cross the mountain before they can reach your place?" Shinobu asked and Y/n nodded. "Okay, I'll tell them. Thank you for answering my questions." 

"No problem, my dear." Y/n was informed by their kakushis that the garden is clean. "Well, I should be going now. Goodbye, my fellow hashiras. It's nice seeing every one of you, I hope we see each other again." Y/n said, as they jumped up and disappeared from thin air. 

"What the hell? How did they do that?" 

"Such a flamboyant move!" 

"How wonderful!" 

"Hmm, they're cool." 

"So cool! I wish I can see them again!" 

"Such a strong presence." 

"They're still as eccentric as ever." 

"I'm glad I met them again." 

"Cool."

Shinobu just got back to her mansion and decided to check up on Tanjiro and the others. It seems like all of them are fine, so she went out. Going up on the roof, remembering what Y/n told her. 

"Your sister is a brave and strong hashira, I'm proud of her."

She sighed, looking up at the moon. "I hope... you're still here. You would be so enamored if you saw Y/n again." She murmured, remembering how her sister idolized Y/n so much. 

"Well, I just hope that Y/n will take good care of Tanjiro and the others. They seem to be good kids." 

"Don't worry, I'll take care of them, Kocho." A person said, hearing Shinobu's voice from far away.
