The Unknown Hashira (Demon Slayer x Reader)

[44: Victory]

Y/n and their kakushis run toward where Sanemi and the others are, constantly worrying about Sanemi's well-being along with his brother. While running, Y/n focused again to see if they were in the right direction, and while focusing they felt something that made them tear up. 

Kokushibo is defeated. 

ʚɞ ʚɞ ʚɞ ʚɞ

The four slayers finished defeating Kokushibo and Sanemi woke up from his little nap. Fighting the upper moon 1 is very tiring. When he woke up though, he saw Genya... slowly dying. 

"What's happening to him!?" He screamed, slowly wiggling Genya. "His body is crumbling like he's a demon!!" He screamed, telling Genya things about how he was never a pain, thinking of something to help the young boy. But Genya is still slowly decaying, even if Sanemi prayed to God. 

"Blood Demon Art: Beautiful Poison!" 

Sanemi looked behind him and saw a demon in a kakushi uniform, the kakushi looked at him and the boy beside him. "You don't need to worry, your brother will heal." The demon said, Sanemi looked at Genya and saw his body start regenerating. 

Sanemi looked at himself and saw that the cuts he received during the fight with kokushibo are now healed. He looked at the demon again and saw her talking to someone, that someone is the hashira he spend a night with. 

Y/n.

The hybrid hashira saw Sanemi looking at them and stopped talking to Caine, slowly walking towards Sanemi. They kneeled and hugged Sanemi, the man started crying on Y/n's chest, while the hybrid slowly cradled him. 

Y/n cradled Sanemi, the man talked about how he thought that Genya will die, thanking Y/n and their efforts. "Shh, it's okay. Always remember that I'm here to help you, okay?" Sanemi nodded, burying his face in Y/n's chest for comfort. "Rest for a while. Here, drink this." Y/n said as they gave Sanemi a potion to help him gain his strength. 

"Caine, help Muichiro and Gyomei." Caine nodded and went toward the other hashiras. Caine touched Muichiro and chanted a spell to make him alive again, and the boy slowly opened his eyes. "Place Muichiro on the bed, he needs to relax." The kakushis carried Muichiro carefully and transferred him to the bed. 

Caine touched Gyomei and healed the man, all of his wounds are now gone making him shocked. "I'm a demon, yes. But I won't hurt you, quite the opposite." Caine said as they held Gyomei's eyes. "Would you like me to heal them?" Caine asked and Gyomei shook his head. 

"I'm used to being blind, changing all of a sudden in the middle of a battle will make me weak." Caine nodded and assisted Gyomei to rest. 

Y/n slowly patted Sanemi's head, looking at Genya and observing his regeneration skills. Genya's body is almost fully regenerated, just some of his arms are left. "Your regeneration skills are fast, what happened?" Y/n asked and Genya look at them. 

"I... ate a part... of the upper... moon 1..." Y/n's eyes widen, not knowing that Genya did that. "I... did that... to help... big brother..." Y/n felt Sanemi's hand clutching their clothes. 

"Genya, you know how dangerous that is. You shouldn't have done that." Y/n murmured, caressing Genya's face. The boy teared up, knowing what he did. "I'm glad you're okay, just take a rest, alright?" The boy slowly nodded, his body still feeling weird. 

ʚɞ ʚɞ ʚɞ ʚɞ

"Revival!! Muzan has revived!! The hashiras must gather at once!!" Y/n's crow screamed, making Y/n grimace. "Muzan has white long hair and his body is covered in mouths with fangs!!" Y/n raised a brow at his appearance then they chuckled. 

"White hair, huh? Oh, good for him." Y/n murmured, and looked at Gyomei and Sanemi. "Are you okay now? You two should move." Y/n said and Sanemi stood up, looking at Y/n and noticing something about them. 

Y/n's body changed.

He noticed that Y/n's body seems to be bulkier, with more muscles than what he remembered, and their hair is longer and shinier than he remembered. Y/n's eyes also changed, their eyes are... scarier. Y/n noticed his stare and chuckled. 

"I look different don't I?" Sanemi nodded and was patted on the head by Y/n. "Don't worry, I'll look different in a while, but I'll be back, okay?" Sanemi nodded and just started running with Gyomei, looking for Muzan. 

"I'll follow you two if I confirmed that Muichrio and Genya are okay," Y/n screamed, Sanemi and Gyomei noted that and started running again. 

After a couple of minutes, Y/n noticed that the fortress is creaking, immediately transforming themselves into a huge bird to carry all of their kakushis and the slayers. "The biwa girl died?" 

"Yes, Y/n-sama. Yushiro is trying to drive her to our side but Muzan crushed her head." Y/n grimaced, their brother being such a menace is annoying them. "Y/n-sama, that place seems to be good enough to hide Muichiro-san and Genya-san. I can heal them there." Caine said and Y/n nodded. 

Slowly flying down and letting the kakushi go down carefully off their back. Y/n transformed back to normal and looked around, seeing a city around them. "Fuck! That biwa girl is an annoying brat, even till her death she transported us to the city!" Y/n growled out, looking at the moon and seeing their crow fly. 

"There's still an hour and a half left till sunrise!" The crow said making Y/n sigh. 

"Well, seems like I need to help them."
