Billy woke up with the smell of coffee as Anastasia was doing her home work and somehow Anastasia got Jane to come over so she could do some of her own work. Billy's coffee was on the right side of the bed. Cold hand touches the hot coffee, this was nice having coffee in bed. "Morning Ana."
Turn turns with a smile on her face. "Morning Billy."
"What in god name time is it?"
"9 am. I let you sleep in, because.. never mind. Eggs and toast will be up here shortly. I told them that we would have breakfast outside. Only if you want too. I can change that."
With a sip of good tasting coffee he smiled. "That's fine. Thank you."
"You're welcome."
Outside in the sun as they were by Anastasia's pool. Being so nice out and close to being hot. "Do you want to go swimming after breakfast?" Anastasia asked.
"Man I'd love too, I have to work."
'Right work, remember Ana this wasn't a date date. It was just two friends going out to the movies.' Stabbing her fork into her hash browns. "Okay." She just left it at that.
"I could afterwards if you'd like me too."
Joking with him a little. "I wouldn't want to have the manly man being taken away from his ladies." Billy stares her down, he wasn't sure if she was joking or not. When she lifts her head up, she leans back without a smile. "I was joking Billy." Hoping that she didn't hurt his feelings.
He leans back in his chair as well. "Well what if I say that I clear my plans just to come over here after work?"
"You don't have to Billy. I mean I want you too. But you have two ladies that are so into you-"
Billy cuts her off. "I know that they wouldn't be the same." He acts dramatic. "No worries." Leans in a tad. "So... do we have a date?"
'A date? Oh gosh... No because in the end we will hurt each other and I'm not good enough for you. Just a friend. Girl it's a friend date... Nothing. Just stop. Stop.' Taking a hold of her coffee. "It's a date."
'Why did she hold back... Do I have something on my face? Does she know something that I don't know?' Grin on his face. "Wonderful, we can go to that place also, if you don't have anything planned."
"Sure." Their plates were taken away. "I wish you could stay and not go to work."
"Do you?" Billy took out his cigarette. Then lights it up.
"I do. Is that bad to wish your best friend didn't have to work?"
'Best friend? How do I make her change mind?? Charm her harder I guess.' Billy blew out smoke. "Nope. But what if this wasn't a 'best friend' date?"
Anastasia mind was running on what to say next. She wasn't expecting that at all. Clearing her voice. "So you are asking me on a date." That made her a little nervous. But excited. No one ever pay attention to a fat girl dating a skinny boy, it was a little uncommon.
"Is the against his rules of not dating his workers?"
"If it was I wouldn't be here." Anastasia smiled as she was shaking in her boots. "No as long if I'm not working there it doesn't matter."
"And of you did?"
"Billy." She scoffed. "Stop. It's not against his rules." Then in her mind pops something sad. 'What if he wants to take me out because he feels bad for me because I haven't been on a true date before. Or as a joke. A mean but playful joke.' As that thought pops in she faked smiled. "And if your 'shitty' sister needs a place to stay for awhile. She is more than welcome to stay here. She will have the pool to herself. When we leave."
Billy laughs hearing Anastasia recalling Max 'shitty'. "Eh but you love her more than I do." His cigarette was almost done. The girls come down with hearing what they were talking about. Giggle as they headed to the pool. Billy sighs as he stood up. "I should be getting ready."
Anastasia was watching the girls and then looking up to Billy. "I hope you have a wonderful day Billy."
Winning her with his arms crossed. "You want to come up?"
Anastasia smiled. "You want me too?" Not sure why he wants her up there.
"Why not?" Winking at her.
