The rays of the heat burned on the unprotected skins.

The Sun has fully rised up and Kyda finally witness in board daylight. She and Amita was in a never-ending line of other vulnerable victims, creating an endless chain and that contributed to the vast slavery industry. Kyda examined her surrounded and spotted Amita only 4 victims away from her. But her poor child cried for her since last night till the sunrise.

The bewilderment and fear intoxicated Kyda's capabilities to route her escape. She looked to her left to find a middle-aged man, who's rib cage was visible to the external world, clearly malnourished. Kyda then faced to her right to see a young lady around her age but was poorly kept with her appearance, clear evidence to how the kidnappers had treated the unfortunate. Kyda scoped her surroundings to reassure herself that there was no one at ear distance. She continued to walk forwards with the others as she slightly leans back and whispered to the women on her right.

"Where are they taking us?" Kyda adapted to maintain her stealth, but the women did not respond.

Did she hear her?

Was she deaf?

"Where are they-"

The women nudged Kyda with her elbow to have her stand up straight. Kyda was about to shoot her signature glare but a trader tread past them and Kyda continued to face forward to decline any suspicious. "You need to be careful" the women behide her whispered "We may outnumber them, but they are inhuman. We don't know what they would do next, their unpredictable". Kyda noted that mentality "Do you know what's gonna happen to us?" she spoke underneath her breath.

A man that was just ahead of the camel was knocked to the ground by a tradesman "FASTER YOU LEACH!". All The parasites around the poor souls laughed to their form of entertainment. The two ladies can barely bare the sight of the scene, but they couldn't pry their eyes away. "You really don't know?" the women exhaled as her eyes never left the demonstration of the dehumanising humiliation. But how could Kyda? No one would record something like this in the history book. Kyda answered with a simple nod of a no.

"They're going to take us back to the royal city bazar and if we cannot be sold there, we will be profited to the Marathas" that was enough for Kyda to recall what she had witness at the bazar and the history of the invasion of the Mughals. The malnourished victims that trekked in a cold steel cage, just to be sold like cattle.

"SHUT THAT CHILD!" one of the traders demanded. The train of Kyda's horror daydream halted in their tracks as her gaze landed on Amita performing many attempts to claim her child back from those monsters. Every time she rebelled; it had resulted in her receiving the penalty, but she was blinded by her motherly love for her only kin. One of the slave traders hits the back of her head with their hard handle of their machete. Amita fell onto her knees but restricted from plummeting fully to the ground due to her hand being bounded with the other victims who watched in dread. Withal, Amita was disorientated to even get back on her feet and was reluctantly dragged across the scorching sand. The camels continued ahead and the victims had no other choice but to continue by foot and to carry extra weight from the slightly unconscious mother.

Kyda could barely turn around turn around to observe what was happening, but she knew it was nothing good. Worst of all it had included Amjed and Amita "HE JUST WANTS HIS MUM!" Kyda stood her ground. The same man who inflicted harm on Amita stormed towards Kyda. She did not have any regret of what she voiced but she was anxious about the consequences, she took a few steps back as the man charged towards her. The man raised his blade, blocking the sun within her vision. Amita vision soon became stabled, unfortunately, her legs could no longer carry her weight as her eyes laid on the soon to be beheaded Kyda.
