The sky was clear blue with no trace of clouds.

The bright hot ball of sun was shining all its glory.

And the deep navy ocean was at its calmest with its subtle, gently waves.

In the middle of the blue sheet of water was a tiny oak rowing boat bouncing up and down gently-

"Are we there yet?" Kyda interrupted the tranquil scenario. "Almost..." Ali looked around as he was rowing the boat with the two oars, himself. He glanced down to see Kyda laying on the floor of their tiny boat "Are you ok?".

Kyda looked up at him sickly "Did I tell you it's my first time on a boat" Ali kept rowing as he had his focus and concern on her, he nodded no as a response. "It's my first time on the boat..." she answered with a greenish tone on her complexion "It's good to know now, I get seasick". Ali eyes smiled with empathy "You been on the waters for too long... don't worry we are almost there". Kyda laid on the wooden floor weakly, she barely produces any movement expect her chest going up and down from breathing. Her eyes became heavy and began to drag her eyelids down as she fought back to restrain the temptation. "Sleep, Kyda... I promise to wake you when we get there" Ali spoke softly as he slowly her hair out of her face.

She didn't want to, but Ali voice was deep and soothing.

She gave in.

"Kyda..."

"Wake up Kyda..."

"WAKE UP!"

Kyda screamed as she held her ear from the sudden loud words, making her jump. She glared into Ali eyes.

Clearly, she wasn't a morning person.

"WHY YOU GOTTA SCREAM DIRECTLY INTO MY EARS?!" She yelled back, inflicting the same "torture" on the poor guy. But Ali shakes it off like it was nothing "We're here" he points ahead towards their destination with a smile. Kyda quickly turns and gasped at the sight.

The golden shimmering sand was glimmering in the sunlight while the clean turquoise water was crashing onto its surface. And on top of the foundation was a huge stone cliff covered with vines, moss, and wildflowers. It acted as some form of barrier or border to enemies or unwanted visitors.

Maybe it's a sign.

And what laid bellow the natural barrier looked could be mistaken as a block of gold and with diamonds enhancing it's worth and causing a chance of blindness.

"What is that? ... a lighthouse?" Kyda leans over the edge of the boat to get a better look causing it to slight tilt towards her side, however, the knowledge sailor moved to the other side casually to restore balance. Ali titled his head to the side "You don't remember the palace?" that sentence made Kyda jaw dropped as she faced Ali in disbelief. "I don't remember the palace being on a cliff" she rotated her head back at the view in pure bewilderment.

"But then again I didn't get a chance to see the whole place... I was mostly in the Empress quarters being watched or on public grounds where most people from the outside was allowed".

As the rowing boat floated closer to shore, the astonishment on her face had morphed into fear.

What if she can't find Amita?

What if she finds her and she dead?

Would Saif even be happy to see her after she abandoned him?

Haves he made Rayha into his Empress?

WHAT IF HE STARTED A FAMILY WITH HER?!

Kyda was causing irrational and non-logical problems, fears, and thoughts to her state of mind. It was harming her self-esteem and deteriorating what was left of her confidence to face the mess she left behide.
