Kedricson's Point Of View
It's been a few days since I've discovered that my wife is already back in the country. I really want to have a talk with her, but I'm starting to feel like a coward once again.
I want to go up to her but... this guilty feeling inside me just won't let me.
Today happens to be the 6th birthday and death anniversary of our little girl. I always make it a point to visit her, but on this special day, I'm planning to get her some toys and flowers as a gift.
Hindi ko aakalain na sa pagbisita ko sa anak namin ay makikita at makakaharap ko ulit siya.
She looks like the Clara I know before but, feels not.
May nagbago sa kaniya. Maraming nagbago.
"Ked," she uttered my name.
"You're here..."
"I went to see my mom," she casually replied, looking towards the direction where Tita Marrie's grave was.
"I'll visit our baby... Do you wanna come?" I asked her.
"Our baby? Is she here?"
I nodded in response.
"Come with me," I invited again.
I started walking ahead and felt her following along with her friend.
We walked for a few minutes before I stopped and entered the grave I had made for our child.
A plethora of children's toys greeted us, ones that I always brought here.
"Hi, baby! Happy birthday!" I greeted our child, placing the flowers and doll I brought.
I took a step back to give her space to get closer to our baby's grave.
For a minute, there was no reaction on her face until she bowed her head and placed her hands on the tombstone of our baby girl.
I noticed her shoulders shaking, a sign that she was crying.
"H-hi, little one! It's b-been a while!" Clara struggled to speak.
"Sorry if Mommy hasn't visited you in almost six years. I-I didn't know if I could handle coming to see you... I'm sorry."
I silently watched her as she talked to our child. She was crying and I could feel the pain she was experiencing.
Until now, I still feel the pain of losing a child.
She continued talking to our baby until she fell silent for a few minutes and then said her goodbyes.
She started walking away and as she was about to pass me, I suddenly grabbed her wrist, causing her to stop and look at me.
"I'm... sorry," I whispered.
"I can forgive but I can't forget," she responded, removing my hand from her wrist.

"How's my schedule for next week?" I asked my secretary.
"You have some appointments, Sir..."
"Reschedule them, I have an important celebration to attend."
"Okay, Sir! I'll inform them right away!"
