Chapter 48: Aoki Clan

It's been 6 years now, tanggap na tanggap na ako ng lahat bilang kanilang leader, alam at kalkulado ko na ang mga patakaran at kung paano mamalakad sa organisasyon.

Malapit na rin ang araw ng pagbabalik ko sa Pinas para bisitahin ang pamilya ko at para tuluyan na rin na putulin ang aking koneksyon sa kanila.

"May pagkakataon na pwede mong bitawan ang responsibilidad mo, Mistress. Maaari mong ipasa ito sa iba... Bakit hindi mo ginawa?" tanong ni Sora.

Katatapos pa lang ng misyon namin at ngayon ay nagpapahinga kami sa main headquarters namin dito sa Japan.

"Para maiparanas ang hirap na naranasan ko? Hindi na, mas okay na ako na lang ang mahirapan. Ako naman talaga ang mas may karapatan na sumalo ng responsibilidad na ito at saka pambawi ko na rin sa mga kasalanan na nagawa ko," mahabang sagot ko at pinikit ang mga mata.

"Paano ka naman? Paano naman ang kasiyahan mo? Ang karapatan niyong maging malaya ni Rojan?" sunod-sunod na tanong niya.

"Pagtatrabahuhan ko ang kalayaan ng anak ko, palalayain ko siya kahit ako na lang ang maiwan dito basta makita ko ang anak kong masaya at malaya."

Ngumiti siya at tiningnan ako na para bang nahihiwagaan at bumibilib sa akin.

"Kung naging maingat ako noon ay sana dalawang anak ko ang kasama ko ngayon... I will visit her, Mizzy. I will visit my baby girl."

Haru's Point Of View

"Damn, Clara, you've really grown. I'm freaking proud of you," I whispered, eavesdropping on her convo with my sister.

I feel so bad for dragging her into this mess, especially with all her responsibilities. I know I shouldn't be doing that. She should be living peacefully with her baby. But I can't. She and her family will just be in danger if I don't bring her into the underground organization.

"Mistress..." I knocked on the door. Nakuha naman nito ang atensyon ng dalawa lalong-lalo na si Clara.

"The leader of Yuta wants to have a chat with you," I said, sitting down on the nearest chair.

"Tungkol ba sa kasunduan ng dalawang pamilya? I'm still married, I can't marry him and I have no plan to," she replied with annoyance..

There was some agreement made between the two families. It happened when the Yuta clan helped out the Aoki family when they were drowning in debt and dealing with some serious family issues because they didn't have an official leader to handle things for them and the whole organization.

No one had the guts to step up and take the leader position, and during that time, the Yuta Clan helped out the Aoki Clan. But because the Yuta folks are greedy as hell, they demanded that the two families have a deep connection by marrying the leader of the Aoki family to one of theirs.

They asked for this crap because they wanted a chance to become the leader of the damn underground organization. Power is all they thirst for.

Now, Mistress is ranked number one. Rojan, her son, is number two. Isamu Yuta is number three, and I come fourth. Sora is fifth.

"It's your family's damn promise to them. If you don't want to fulfill it, then war is the only answer. You gotta wipe out their whole damn clan," I suggested.

"You want me to kill all of them?" she asked me, her face still as poker-y as ever.

"Why the hell not? If we all benefit from wiping out their entire family... They've killed so many innocent people just for some damn money. They're heartless."

"What about the innocent people in their clan? The ones who are forced to live that life even though they don't want to? I know we ain't much different from them 'cause we're all killers, but our family still has a heart. We would never take innocent lives, especially those of little kids."
