60. Revealing

Sorry for long wait. I just noticed the votes... i been so busy with my CPR training that I forgot to check this. On the bright side I'm finally updating & I'm getting my CPR certification threw mail soon...& some of you may be surprised in my direction but my original chapter erased and I started all over. So I headed in a new direction; however I think the chapter is good and it clears some things up even if it is abrupt.

Chris POV

"I'm going to find out who did this love" I whispered.

"I don't want you to get hurt. Whoever tried to hurt me knows a poison that is very lethal to vampires. I'm only okay because some of the weird werewolf blood that somehow I still have " she whispered shaking.

" I don't care who they are. I'm lucky that you're alive ! If Linda hadn't have that vision and come directly here to save you - I - I- you would be gone " I said as my voice cracked.

All my composure was fleeing and I wasn't afraid to show my discomfort at the thought of losing her. Nothing would destroy me as loosing her. This wasn't like loosing her to someone else this was worse. At least when she was with someone else I could still see her and talk to her - that was enough for me.

"Don't leave today to do whatever you been doing lately. Please stay here with me " Rose said clutching my shirt.

I could see her slight tremble when she spoke. No doubt she felt uneasy and not wanting to be alone. But I knew there was so much more we needed to talk about and I wasn't sure how much we should say now to each other.

"I won't be gone from your side any longer. I wouldn't be able to stay sane if I wasn't around you "I said playing with a piece of her brown curls.

Just remembering seeing her on the ground near the door broke me. She fought it at first and I just seconds away from loosing her.

"Where were you? When I woke up that women was here " she growled.

" Oh yes that was Linda " I said wondering why she was angry all of sudden.

Looking into her eyes I saw that flaming anger of Linda being in her room. It reminded me of her anger earlier when I came to see her.

"I don't like strangers being near me. There's something about her I don't like. I don't want her near " she said clenching her hands.

I stared down at her clenched hands is astonishment. Linda was an amazing women and really kind. She came to save her for crying out loud. I looked down at my love in wonder. I knew that not believing her would hurt her in more ways than one because in her mind it would be betrayal. Lying was out of the question, I hadn't lied to her before and doing it now was out of the question.

"I don't understand why you dislike her even after what I just explained but I won't argue. I'll make sure your are always with me okay?" I said brushing her cheek.

"Christian your mother wishes to speak with you " Linda said making me look away from Jane to her.

She however wasn't looking at me but instead Jane. There was this blank look on her face that made me question what I actually thought about her. Unsure if it was because what Jane just confessed to me or if I actually saw something.

"I'll go in a second" I said making her snap her attention back at me.

"She's with the Leroy's " she said before disappearing.

At the mention of the Leroy's it made me realize that I hadn't finished my talk with Jordan. She made me uneasy because of her behavior earlier. She acted too suspicious even more so than Alex.
