Jane POV

Spending time with Chris allowed me to finally feel better. Things were so confusing though, I still thought about what he told me, about leaving this town. But would leaving help me? Lying in bed I thought about everything I knew now. I finally know Justin and I had a love interest and we were mates. Derek knew the whole time about my emotions at one point but didn't tell me. Chris tried to warn me about the secrets the pack was hiding but I didn't pay much attention to it. Misty who I consider my sister didn't tell me anything, even after countless times where I cried to her. Jason who always was like a brother to me didn't tell me this shocking secret between Justin and me. Then there's Drew and the pack that didn't trust me enough apparently because I was vampire. Now I'm here lost in my own thoughts. Three days here already at Tian's apartment but nowhere near a decision. I mean, I was pack enforcer leader and yet they didn't trust me. How could I protect people I view as family when they saw me as a enemy. Feeling vulnerable at the moment didn't help me think straight. I knew the pack and my close friends didn't say anything because they promised Justin. However, I was mad because they thought I would hurt them. They didn't trust me with their safety because I was a vampire. Physically and emotional I was beyond stress. My emotions somehow shut down and it was like I couldn't really grasp it. It's like my mind couldn't handle all the emotional stress. My mind and emotions shut down. The only time I felt somewhat normal was when I spent time with Chris hunting animals. My craving for my food was gone, blood is all I craved and animal blood wasn't satisfying me anymore. Saxon started to become my food source and it was the only way I became full. Of course, I didn't feed from him like before but sadly Saxon went into a sexual frenzy so I had to feed at a club. After feeding from him he would go off and have sex with whoever wanted to please him. I probably would have laughed when he told me that he had organismic sex after I fed from him, if I didn't feel so detached. I was staring at the ceiling when Saxon came in.

"My queen, may I have a word?" he asked in such a posh accent.

"I have told you not to call me that ever,okay? What do you need to talk about?" I asked sitting up.

"Sorry. It's hard to remember at times and it's about Chris " he said.

"Chris?" I asked not knowing why he wanted to talk about him.

"He needs to feed. He's not being satisfied by human nor animal blood " he said looking down.

"What do you mean? He hasn't drank from humans " I growled.

"I have brought him blood bags because the animal blood isn't filling his blood hunger. You need to let him feed from you " he said looking up into my eyes.

"Feed from me?" I asked confused.

"Your blood will fill him up the same way my blood fills you up. The connection you created allows it" Saxon explained.

"What connection? " I questioned.

"When you offered your blood to him it was like when I offered my blood to you. We not only offered our blood but a connection to the person we were allowing to feed " he explained.

Damn talk about torture. I knew how the hunger lingered after drinking blood. Only Saxon was quenching my thirst because of my horrible pains of hunger, I can only imagine Tian's pain.

"I understand now. Um. Call him in please " I said and turned away.

I looked out the window. Maybe Chris did hide more things than I thought. He hid things from me so I wouldn't worry about him. Maybe his concern for me was a lot more than I imagined. Here I was letting him console me and yet I didn't help him in his hurt. He walked into the room and took a seat next to me and looked out the window. Taking a glance at him, I noticed he looked much paler and his eyes were more of a dull and dark eye color.
