Feeling High

Jane POV

"I don't know why you wanted me to drive you back home. You could have stayed at the pack house with me" Derek said rubbing his neck.

"It's better this way " I sigh.

"I'm really sorry about pushing you away " Derek groans.

"I know. I understand. It's just I ... I don't know. Vamp feels something is going to happen. Besides she didn't take well to your apology. I'm not though babe. I promise" I said hugging him.

I wrap my arms around his neck. I gave him a small kiss. I laid my head on his chest and closed my eyes. I could hear his heartbeat loud. His pulse from his throat called me. I could feel my fangs begin to throb in my mouth. My mouth watered and I wanted to taste him. Vamp had been pissed since I forgiven Derek. It's weird not having her say a word. It's like she completely disappeared in my mind. It's just me and my thoughts.

"Derek I have to go inside. Before I bite you " I mumbled.

"Fine " he mumbled pulling away.

"It's for the best " I whispered looking into his eyes.

"I know  "he said and gave me one last hug.

"Talk to you tomorrow " I said and hugged him back.

With a hug from him I unlocked Chris's apartment. I drop my bag in the front. Odd the house is silent.

"Chris I'm home " I yelled.

I hung my jacket on the hanger and walked into the kitchen. I opened the fridge and noticed only a small bag of animal blood. Shit. This won't hold me up long.

"Chris I'm taking the last blood bag from the fridge" I said.

Still no answer. I bit into the bag and walked into the living room. But no one was there, not even Saxon. I tilted my head confused. Where are they? I went into Chris's room but he wasn't there. I walked out of his room and pulled out my phone. Crap! I had 3 missed calls from him. I quickly dialed his number feeling bad. While the phone rang I finished my blood bag and threw it in the trash. I called four more times until I finally got a answer.

"Chris " I said.

Music was blaring into the phone. Where the hell is he at? A rave or club ? Weird. Chris doesn't like going to events like those.

"Nah. Chris is busy with a hot blonde. But damn girl looks like she stepped out of a porn video " Saxon chuckled.

"What?!" I yelled surprised.

"Yea and let me tell you , coming to Darkness is awesome. Chicks everywhere flaunt themselves at you. The blonde with Chris finally got him to relax and I think they will feed from each other " Saxon chuckled.

Feed from each other ? Chris said that was bad. Vampires shouldn't feed from one another. He told me on my sedux frenzy. Shit. This isn't good. I don't remember exactly what happens when you bite a vampire. Crap I hope it isn't anything bad.

"Keep her from biting him Saxon. Whatever it takes. I'm on my way" I said and clicked.

I ran to my jacket and saw Saxon's car keys on the table. He won't mind if I take them. I ran downstairs to the garage and then sped to the club. Hopefully nothing bad happens to Chris. Five minutes later I was at the club. A smile to the vampire bouncer and flash of my eyes made the bouncer let me pass.

The club was dark with lights flashing. It had this sex vibe to it. It smelled of alcohol,sweat and something else. I focused on the smell and Vamp became mad.
