Ready to know?

Jane POV

Its been one month and six days since I moved out the pack. Things have been interesting to say the least. Days passed things began to get awkward. There was this strange tension thick in the air in school. Apparently some people couldn't understand why Drew didn't punish Angie for undermining Misty. Rumors still spread and hopefully Misty doesn't believe any of them. It was finally the end o the week and for some reason I couldn't keep myself from trying to speak with Jackson. He was just something that I feel tells me I can trust him. Now we are friends but I know he hides away his true feelings. It's a little disappointing that he just accepts any attention from females that want him. There's a nagging feeling telling me that he shouldn't do it but I don't know exactly why it is. I try to take advantage of school hours to spend with my friends but time seems to slip away. I miss training's at home, Chris lets me use his gym room to work out but it's not the same. I miss the pack warriors and their excitement to learn more techniques or refine some of their moves. Derek and me have been spending most of school time together. He always uses my independent studies class to spend it with me. We talk about things going on and kiss every now and then. Don't judge. He's  my boyfriend. Now standing here in my spot with him made things better. I don't feel depressed but I do still feel sad because I feel lost without the pack.

"Hey you " Derek whispered.

"Hey, I missed you " I giggled.

"Yea me too" he said looking weird.

"You okay?" I said looking into his eyes.

" I'm fine just feeling a it overwhelmed with school work that's all" Derek said.

I leaned in and kissed him but the kiss was different. He didn't kiss me the usually way. It seemed a bit reluctant.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" I asked when we pulled away.

"Oh nothing" he said biting his lip.

"Okay. Well can you give me a clue to where the date that you planned tomorrow is going to be at, huh?  I said giving him my puppy eye look.

"The date?"he asked confused.

"Yes a date. The one you had plan because of our anniversary, you had told me before I left to Chris because of my sedux thing "I said and started to get uneasy.

"Oh yea that date. Um, I still have some things to do. You knew to make it perfect and all " he said looking down.

"You are acting very weird. You sure you are okay? " I asked confused.

"Guess Im not good at all"he said laughing.

While he laughed nervously I heard his watch go off. He frowned and looked at his watch. Then there was a bright smile coming out.

"Guess time with you disappears fast my love " he said getting more excited.

" You have class already " I pouted sadly.

"No sadness. If you want I can skip but I really shouldn't " he said looking anxious glancing at his watch.

" No it's fine you skipped already yesterday " I said.

"Fine" he said and pulled me for a hug and left.

Instead of leaving I decided to go to the school field. I took a seat in the bleachers and noticed the cheer squad practicing and football team on the field. I began bobbing my head to the cheer music. I leaned back and closed my eyes, the most normal moment I been able to have to myself. Mom if you can hear me up there I really want a bit happiness in my life. I want to feel complete with myself. I need Justin to tell me everything he use to be with me. I know he is a key to know the whole me. I let out a breath and then I felt someone heading towards me. I opened my eyes to meet Justin.
