Chris POV

I was visiting my parents for the holidays. I spent a wonderful time with my parents for Christmas. This time here with him helped me so much.I needed time away from my mate. I love her so much but seeing her with someone else kills me. I want to be the reason for her smiles. Be the reason for her happiness. It's been days since I seen her, and even tho I left to not see her, I miss her a lot.

"Hey Christian " Emile said.

I turned around to face her and saw she was wearing lingerie. She also had some heels on. Black lace. Crap.

"Emilie I'm on my way out " I said standing up heading to the door.

"Wait. Why are you leaving so quick?" Emilie whispered in my ear.

She was now standing In front of the door. Emilie was Beautiful. Her long blonde hair. Her slim figure and red eyes. But she wasn't something I wanted now or ever. No women could compare to my mate. Since the first moment I met her she was my one and only. Even now not once have I been unfaithful to her. I don't care how unmanly that sounds. I'm a Virgin and proud because my mate is the only one that can have me. Emilie noticed my thoughts and flashed her eyes a glowing red.

"Christian please let me take her off your mind. She has someone already"Emilie said wrapping her hands around my neck.

"I don't care. She's mine &' I'm ONLY HERS " I growled.

I pulled Emilie away from the door and left. But not before hearing her laughing.

"You won't be able to resist me forever Christian" she whispered.

After saying goodbye to my parents and leaving I turned my phone on. I had 5 missed calls and one voicemail. They were all from Rose.She missed me,no wait- no she didn't.

Hey Chris it's me. I was just wondering where are you? You just disappeared. You aren't answering my calls. I remembered the talk we had before and I want you to help me remember everything. Call me soon. Love you

I guess it wasn't her missing me. Yet I can't deny that I felt overwhelmed with happiness when she said she loves me. I know , I know ,you guys think I'm crazy. But if you were in love you would understand. I called her back a few times but she didn't answer. I decided to drive to the pack house to check on her. Something inside me was saying things were off.

After a hour of driving, I was parking my car in front of the pack house. I rang the doorbell and Misty answered.

"Hey what's up ? "she asked happy.

"Babe don't run away from me " Drew said running up behind her.

"Sorry"she giggled forgetting my presence.

"Hey um is Rose here? She called me wanting to talk" I said feeling awkward since they were embracing each other.

"Yea come on in"Misty said smiling.

"Prince " Drew nodded not looking away from his mate and acknowledging me.

"Alpha " I nodded and followed Misty.

We walked through the house wen I started getting a faint smell of lust. It smelled like Emilie when she goes sedux vampire. But this smell was more better,more alluring and intoxicating. I walked into the game room and saw Rose with her eyes a piercing silver. I stood their mesmerize by her eyes. I snapped out of my trance when I saw her fangs retract. I ran to her side and pulled her off Derek. He was full on lust state.
