Chapter 31

Jane POV

I looked at his face and my mind wandered back to when we I first woke up. The hurt was etched on his face. His eyes looked sad and it looked like he wanted to cry. So much sadness in those beautiful eyes. A old saying tells that eyes reveal so much about someone's soul.

The soul of someone is definition of who they are just like a personality. Justin use to be the biggest enigma to me. I mean I constantly fought between confronting him and just forgetting him. I mean who would try to avoid someone else at all cost and not give them at least a reason. But no matter what Justin reasons to stay I couldn't walk away before I knew it was the right choice.

"How about I take you somewhere more private. I can tell you all the truth there " he said clenching and unclenching his hands

"Whatever you feel more comfortable with" I said biting my lip.

"Let's head to my favorite spot?" he asked looking at his watch.

"Yea. You don't need to be anywhere do you ?" I asked.

He looked away from his watch to look at me. He seemed so out of it. That's when I realized he was mind linking with someone. I looked away and took out some money and threw it on the table. Then Justin snapped out if it and looked at me like I was crazy. I starred at him and wondered why he looked at me like that. Did someone message him bad news?

"I brought you here. I pay. You can't pay " he said and dropped the bills.

He grabbed my money and stuffed it in my front pocket of my jeans. He didn't wait for me to respond but pulled me to the front.

"Justin I didn't mind paying for the food " I said after a couple of seconds.

"Neither did I " he said putting on his helmet.

"Something tells me you wouldn't ever let me pay something when we went out " I said chuckling.

"When we went out?" he asked turning around to me.

I quickly realized what that sounded like and I couldn't keep up his eye contact. His gaze was questioning and I started cussing myself out for saying something like that to him.

"Its not what you think. I - I mean ...I meant you know hang out" I said nervously.

"I didn't mean for you to get nervous " he said smiling.

Guess he is a gentlemen. But I cant help but think his answer wasn't something I wanted to hear. Justin was such more than he let me believe. He gave me the cold shoulder all the time and acted like nothing mattered to him but Leah. It hurt me knowing that but at least he had Leah to help him while I couldn't remember him.

It's been almost half a year and I know it's time I know who Justin really is to me. I knew others stay silent because they felt I should wait until he told me. I still remember when I asked Misty.

*** Flashback ***

It was the second week since I woke up and no one would tell me anything. I asked constantly who Justin was but everyone looked troubled and found a excuse to change subject or leave. No one wanted to tell me anything and Justin was avoiding me like the plague. Misty came to check on me after the guys went to do some pack stuff . I used that to my advantage and locked her in my room with me. I couldn't take the nagging feeling that I was in the dark about something really big.

"Why did you lock the door?" Misty asked surprised.

"I need you to help me" I said walking towards her.
