**Events happening while Misty was talking to Justin**

Derek's POV

"Derek you smell delicious " she said looking at me.

"Jane " I said carefully.

"Derek do you want to be with me forever?" she asked with a far away look in her eyes.

I felt a large stab to my chest. I fell down and groaned.

"Derek you okay?"she asked worriedly coming to my side.

"Your not Jane" I said stepping back.

"I am. Look at me. Its me "she said stepping back.

"Janet!" Jason yelled.

She quickly stepped away from me. She ran to Jason. She hugged him and stepped back.

"I feel so much better now. But Derek is acting weird " she said then frowned looking my way.

"No you aren't Jane. Let her come back" I said in alpha tone.

"Why do you keep saying to come back?"she asked and looked at me.

"Your her vampire " I growled.

"No it's me Derek"she said moving closer but I just let out another growl out.

I couldn't help but growl the sting in my chest burned. I could sense her vampire strongly and looking into her glowing eyes confirmed it to me.

"Are you rejecting your mate?" she asked and touched my face.

I let out a loud growl because her hand burned my face and made my chest pain increase double.She stepped back and I saw the hurt in her eyes. Her fangs retreated back and her eyes returned to a dull brown.

"I'm not.It just hurts " I growled.

"Jason.Help Derek." she said and turned away from me.

"We need to feed your vampire" Jason said ignoring her comment about me.

"Not before you help Derek please" she said and in a blink of a eye she was in front of Jason and hugging him.

"No! " I yelled and pulled her to me ignoring the urge to growl and my pain.

"You are Mine " I said ignoring my chest pain.

My wolf did not like that the vampire side of her was this strong. He felt threatened by her vamp. But he loved her too much.

"I'm the one hurting you because I'm close" she said stepping away.

She went to Jason again hiding behind him. I knew she was hurt but I didn't know why the pain increased at her touch.

"Stop this. I'm in pain already" I whimpered then growled.

"Call the doctor" she said.

"I'm your MATE.Just your touch will stop the pain" I whimpered.

"Janet no. Derek wolf might loose it" Jason said when she took a step in my direction.

I growled at Jason for trying to make her stay away from me. She trusted me with her life , I wouldn't hurt her.

"Its fine. He's my mate" she said and hugged me.

I let out a loud scream.My whole body felt like it was getting shredded from the inside. Jason pulled her away from me quickly.
