My Only Princess ((Part 1))

Arabian Prince! Nagisa x Peasant! Reader

Today was my birthday. There was only one problem though, the prince of my country also had his birthday today. His name was Nagisa Hazuki. I didn't celebrate anyways. I have no family, friends, or money to do so.

I sighed and sat alone in an alleyway. I watched as a parade and loads of people celebrated in the streets. I decided to also join in on the fun. I stood up and walked out and turned my head. The whole country must be here today. I smiled and walked amongst the crowd. I got to the front and saw how magnificent the parade was. Elephants with clashing colors, woman dressed in bright colors and many talented men doing tricks.

A man then handed me a flower. I smiled and put it in my hair. It was the very first gift I got on my birthday in years. I giggled and thanked him as he walked off.

Someone then whispered to the person behind them that the prince was coming. I turned my head and saw him sitting in a wagon being pulled by men. He was excitedly waving at people and smiling brightly. He didn't really look his age, he seemed to look much younger. He even seemed to be considered cute amongst the people. I blushed lightly at the thought.

He was slowly coming closer. I then was forcefully pushed into the street. I fell on my knees right in front of the prince. My face heated up with embarrassment. I slowly turned my head to look at the prince. He smiled and got out of the wagon.

He walked over to me and held out his hand. "Are you alright miss?"

I blushed even more and slowly put my hand into his. "Yes."

Nagisa pulled me up. "I'm glad."

"Thank you."

"It is my pleasure." He giggled.

My eyes widened a bit. The prince was treating me just like a princess an not like a lowly peasant. "I'm sorry."

"It's alright, accidents happen." He smiled again. He then reached his hand over and pulled the flower from my hair. "This flower suits you." He paused and studied the flower. "I want you to join me for the rest of the day. Is that alright?"

"But! I'm a peasant." I turned my head down. "It's not right."

"It's alright!" He grabbed my wrist and pulled me towards the carriage. "It doesn't matter what your social class is. A person is a person."

I nodded and looked around. Everyone had been watching us. Some were surprised, but most seemed disgusted. Their beautiful prince was touching a lowly peasant. I turned my head down and boarded the carriage.

"We're going to have so much fun!!" Nagisa exclaimed.

~TIME SKIPUUU~

Nagisa led me inside the castle and showed me around. My jaw was most likely dropped the entire time.

"And finally!" Nagisa pulled me over. "This is my room."

I closed my mouth and opened it again to speak. "I apologize my mouth was open the entire time. It was very rude of me to do so."

Nagisa shook his head. "It's alright, don't worry about it. I don't mind." He smiled. "Let's go inside."

I smiled back. "Ok."

He opened the door and motioned for me to go in. It was a spacious room with a bed pushed against the wall in the middle. The ceiling was high and the furniture was far apart, being why because the room was big. I stepped fully into the room and smiled. "It's beautiful." I muttered.

Nagisa walked in next to me. "It is." He turned to me and grasped my hands. "You should stay for my birthday dinner tonight!"

"R-really? Is that okay?" I blushed.

"Of course it is!" He smiled. He then let go of my hands and walked out to the hallway. "Gou!!" He called out.

"It's Kou." A girl's voice rang out and I stepped out to see who it belonged to.

Outside stood a girl with maroon hair in a pony tail. She was in a servants outfit. She pouted angrily at Nagisa.

Nagisa giggled. "Sorry~ Anyways!" He turned to me. "This is a friend of mine. Could you dress her up nicely for tonight and bring her to dinner please?"

Gou/Kou turned on her heels and smiled. "Of course young master." She walked over and grabbed my wrist. "I'll make you extra pretty since the prince requested it."

I blushed. "Thank you."

"By the way." She turns to Nagisa. "What's her name?"

Nagisa's smile drops. He shrugs. "Don't know."

"Eh?!? C'mon Nagisa! That's so rude not asking for her name."

"Hehe Sorry~" He scratches his cheek.

"It's (F/N)." I blurt out.

"It's so cute!" Nagisa exclaims.

I blush.

"It is. You can call me Kou." Kou smiles and then begins to drag me along. "Now let's get you ready."

"Bye (F/N)." Nagisa smiles and waves.

I smile back. "I'll see you later prince Hazuki." I turn my head back to Kou.

I didn't know that Nagisa was frowning though.

~ANOTHER TIMEUUUU SKIIPPUUUU~

Kou finished dressing me in a (F/C) Arabian outfit with matching gold jewelry. "Is this real?" I asked.

She smiled. "Yup!"

"Eh?! I'm not worthy enough to wear this."

She shrugs. "It's alright." She begins to push me along. "Let's get you to the dining hall."

I nod. "Alright."

She pushes me and stops at a big door. "In here. I leave the rest to you." She walks away.

Leave the rest to me?

I open the door and inside is many people celebrating and chatting. I step in an close the door behind me. I look over at the throne and see Nagisa sitting in it. He sees me and smiles. He runs over to me and grabs my hand. He pulls me and sits me down on the throne chair next to his. "Wait here." He says. He walks off and then brings back a bouquet of the flower that I had in my hair earlier. "For you." He smiles.

I blush and slowly take the bouquet. "But it's your birthday today."

"It's alright!! I thought the flowers really suited you."

I smiled. "Thank you Prince Hazuki."

He frowned. "Just call me Nagisa."

I slowly nodded. "Nagisa." It rolled off the tongue nicely.

"That's better." He giggles.

I blush. I think I fell in love with him in such a sort period of time. I didn't think it was possible, but I did.

Nagisa was about to say something else when a man's booming voice interrupted him. "Everyone! Thank you for coming tonight! I have an announcement for everyone. Now that my only son is old enough!! He will be wedded soon! Please welcome his fiancée Yoko!"

I felt my heart shatter into pieces. Marriage?

I quickly stood up and began to walk away. Nagisa stood up and began to chase me. "(F/N)! Wait!"

I ignored him. I saw Kou and she seemed shock at well. She saw me coming over. I felt tears spilling out of my eyes. "Please distract him." Kou nodded knowingly. She walked to Nagisa and fulfilled my request.

I wiped my eyes and broke off into a sprint. I dropped the bouquet.
