Telling Him You're Pregnant

You take several deep breaths and hold your stomach protectively, you just took a pregnancy test and it showed as positive. The first person you told was your best friend Ellie, obviously. Even though your husband for 2 years Kellin Quinn is extremely important to you, you had to speak to Ellie for advice on how to tell him and how to deal with this news.

There are several light knocks on your front door, you open it and Ellie instantly pulls you into a hug.
"Im so happy for you!" She squeals.
You laugh "Thanks, Im worried as hell though!" You shut the door and pull Ellie to the couch.
"What do you mean?" She asks curiously.
"Well for one thing Im fricken pregnant! There's a baby growing inside me right now, thats pretty worrying. There's also the birth worries AND how the FUCK am I supposed to tell Kellin!?!" You explain, the worried feeling developing to plain terror.
Ellie holds your shoulders and gives you a stern look "Dont worry about giving birth, you're a strong woman and I know you'll do great, you'll be the best mother in the world, dont doubt yourself. As for telling Kellin, I'd call him up and get him to come over and tell him straight out. I bet he'll be over joyed! He'll probably cry knowing the big softy!" She rolls her eyes and smiles at you.
You nod and sigh, glad that you believe she's right. "Ok, thanks so much Ellie!" You hug her.
She pats your back supportively "If you need anything at all, help with anything, you know where I am ok?"
You smile widely and nod "Of course, Aunty Ellie has to be as involved as possible!"
She gasps and pulls away "AUNTY!?!?"
You giggle "Well you're basically my sister anyway!"
She squeals and hugs you again "Thank you so much!" She jumps up and makes for the door "Call Kellin right now, get him to come over, be strong and confident, you'll be fine. If he's an asshole about it I'll break his knee-caps and drag him back to you by his ear lobes!" She winks.
You laugh "Ok, thanks Ellie! I will, byeeee!" You wave and Ellie waves back before leaving. Your head falls to your hands. Time to tell Kellin.

You grab your phone, he picks up on the second ring "Hey baby, whats up?" Your heart flutters.
"Hey Kels, I know you're out with the guys right now but I was wondering if you could come home...I have something to tell you." You bite your lip.
Kellin chuckles through the phone "Of course baby, I cant wait to hear whatever it is you've gotta tell me! I'll be over in 10, see you soon baby. I love you!"
You smile widely "I love you too Kels, see you in a bit!" You both hang up at the same time.

Your head falls to your hands again. This is a lot to go through. You literally found out you were carrying another human inside you 20 minutes ago. You're going to get fat. Fuck sake. You're gonna get weird cravings, actually you were kinda looking forward to that part, more food? HELL YEAH!!! But what if Kellin doesnt want to be a part of this? What if he isnt ready to be a dad? Are you ready to be a mother? So many questions and no clear answers. One thing remains undeniably true: You're pregnant.

"HONEY IM HOOOOOME!!!" Kellin calls enthusiastically as he runs into the house. You lift your head from your hands and smile weakly at him before looking back down at the floor, the worries have taken over and you're terrified. Kellin is by your side with his arms around you in an instant "What is it baby? Whats wrong?"
You sniffle and look up at Kellin, you stand up and pull him with you. You take his hands in your and lace your fingers together. "Kellin..."
He gasps "You dont want a divorce do you!?! Oh god please no!"
You shake your head and giggle "Of course not Kels, dont worry about that."
Kellin sighs with relief "Oh thank FUCK, what did you wanna tell me?"
You take a deep breath and close your eyes. "Kellin...Im...Im...Im pregnant!" Silence. All you can hear is breathing. You open your eyes to see Kellin in shock. You wave a hand infront of his face and he snaps out of it.
He smiles widely and picks you up, spinning you around in the air "OH MY GOD THATS AMAZING BABY I CANT BELIEVE IT I'VE NEVER BEEN SO HAPPY APART FROM OUR WEDDING DAY BUT I MEAN THAT WAS DIFFERENT OH MY GOD!!!"
You giggle and all of your worries melt away, Kellin places you gently on the ground and you bury your face in his shirt. "I was so worried, I had no idea how you'd react, I called Ellie over earlier and we discussed it. Thank god you're so happy about this. To be honest Im pretty scared by the whole concept. I mean, there's a very small life inside of my womb right now and I have to protect it for the rest of my life. I dont know what sort of mother I will be or if I'll be good enough-" Kellin cuts you off by smashing his lips to yours.
He pulls away and smiles at you "(Y/N) dont worry, Im going to be with you every step of the way. You wont face anything alone. You're going to be an amazing mother, I know that for a fact. You'll be more than good enough. We'll probably end up being so over protective of this child that it'll never break a bone or anything." He chuckles. "I love you so much baby and Im so happy!"
You kiss him softly "Thank you Kellin, I dont know where I'd be without you! Actually, yes I do, I'd be alone and single and not pregnant in some apartment and I'd be depressed. My point is I'd be nothing without you. I love you so much and Im so glad you're mine."
Kellin smiles down at you "Im yours forever and you're mine forever, I couldnt be happier." He crouches on the floor and places his hands on your stomach. He lifts your shirt and kisses it "And I love you too little'un! Dont worry, me and your mommy are gonna be the best parents in the universe! If you're a girl then you're never gonna have a boyfriend and you'll be daddy's little girl wont you? Yeah! And if you're a boy you're gonna treat ladies properly arent you? Mhmm! Good talk, good talk. I love you!" He kisses your stomach again before standing up.
You laugh "You're gonna be a brilliant dad, I can tell!"
He kisses your lips sweetly "Thanks baby!" He raises an eyebrow "What do you wanna do now?"
You're thoughtful for a moment "Movie marathon?"
Kellin laughs and nods "Sure, why not? What movies?"
You giggle "Twilight!"
Kellin facepalms "Seriously!?!"
You giggle again and point at your stomach "Its two against one, you have no choice in this Mr Quinn, unless you're willing to argue with me and your unborn child!"
Kellin laughs and shakes his head "Twilight it is!"
You smile triumphantly and pat your stomach, looking down at it "Good job, we got our way already, this is gonna be awesome!" You whisper.
Kellin lifts your chin up with his finger and kisses you "I heard that!" He laughs and kisses you again "You're gonna be a perfect mom, I can tell."
