Trip To The Pet Shop

"No but LOOK at how CUTE they all are I cant even!" You squeal as you run around the pet shop excitedly. Your boyfriend Kellin is with you, and he is pretty excited, he's just not showing it.
He laughs "Yeah, they're all super cute baby!"
You gasp and run over to a fish tank "OH MY GOD THEY HAVE AXOLOTLS I AM NOT OK!!!"
Kellin raises an eyebrow "They have WHAT!?!"
You turn to face him and smile "Axolotls, come see!" You beckon him over. His eyebrows furrow as he walks over to you and crouches down to look into the fish tank.
A smile appears on his face "They're so cool looking!"
You nod in agreement before something catches your eye. You run over to the little pen as fast as you can. You turn to the guy at the next and he nods, telling you you can do it. You step over the small fence and kneel down inside the pen. Puppies come running towards you, but not just any puppies, Westie puppies, one of the cutest breeds ever. You've always wanted one. Its a very difficult process though, because they have to be bred properly and a lot of them get a skin complaint which is very hard to keep track of sometimes, you know a lot about these dogs. They're small, white bundles of joy that never grow past about half of the size of an average chair leg. You pick them all up and stroke them, give them cuddles. Some of them fall asleep im your lap. This is your idea of heaven. Then you notice one at the back of the pen, the smallest of the bunch by far, he's shaking, poor little guy. You smile at him and beckon him over, he shakily walks towards you and climbs over his brothers and sisters. You pick him up and cradle him close to your chest. He's definitely the runt of the litter, the weakest and smallest of the bunch, which means he'll be smaller than the rest when he grows up, which is perfect. You turn around with him still cradled in your arms and see Kellin smiling adorably at you.
"I've never seen you look so happy before in all my life Mari, you look absolutely adorable when you're surrounded by puppies!" He says gleefully.
You smile at him "This is my idea of heaven Kels, this is my favorite breed of dog, Westies. This little guy right here is the runt of the litter, which is why I love him so much. Tell me, are they bred properly?"
The guy at the desk nods "Professional breeders sent them in, I've got some papers in the back if you wanted to look at them?"
You shake your head and sigh "I cant afford any of these adorable little things, sorry dude."
The guy at the desk nods "Thats a shame, they've all been toilet trained and everything."
You sigh a heavy sigh "I really wish I could buy one, but I dont have the money." You kiss the smallest puppies head, he's falling asleep in your arms. "Dont worry little guy, Im sure you'll go to a good home." You sniffle, the smallest puppy's eyes fly open and stare at you questioningly. The puppy sits up and starts licking you, trying to cheer you up. You laugh slightly "Go play with your brothers and sisters." You place him back down in the pen, but he instantly runs over to you. You shake your head and step out of the pen, holding back tears.
Kellin wraps his arms around you. "You really love that little one in particular dont you?"
You nod as some tears slip onto his shirt "Yeah."
Kellin smiles "Well then, I guess there's no other option really. We'd like to see those papers!" He says to the guy at the desk, who nods and runs into the backroom.
You look up at Kellin with your jaw hanging open "B-But we dont have the money!?!"
Kellin shakes his head "Correction, YOU dont have the money, IM the one buying it for you as a present." He winks at you.
You gasp and jump up to kiss his forehead "Thank you so so so so so so so much Kels!" You run back over to the pen and pick up the runt, who barks excitedly at you. "You hear that Einy? We're taking you home! You gotta give Kellin some big kisses now to show him how much you love him, ok?" You bring the puppy, who you just named Einstein, or Einy for short, over to Kellin and bring him close to his face. Einy starts licking the side of Kellins face. You put on a cute little voice and pretend to be Einy "Oh thank you so much Mr Quinn, Im so very grateful, I'll be the best little puppy in the world! I love you so much, thank you!" You giggle.
Kellin laughs and raises an eyebrow "Why'd you call him Einy?"
You roll your eyes and cuddle Einy "Back To The Future, duh! I named him after the first time traveller!"
Kellin laughs and kisses you softly "I love you so much baby!" Then he strokes little Einy "And I love you too little guy!" You all look through the papers, realizing he is infact professionally bred, buy him a collar, lead (or leash if you're American af), some dog bowls, dog food, dog treats and a dog with with a little pillow and blanket inside.

You sit in the passenger seat beside Kellin, little Einy asleep in his bed on your lap. "Thank you so much Kellin, you have no idea how much this means to me, I love you so much."
Kellin turns to smile at you and takes your hand in his "You're welcome baby, anything for you, and I love you so much too." Then you smile to yourself, because now you have your own little Einy. "Kellin, you're the Marty Mcfly to my Jennifer Parker."
Kellin leans over and kisses your cheek "Awh, baby! You're the Sarah Connor to my Kyle Reese!" And just like that, you fall even more inlove with Kellin. And little Einy, because he's your lil baby now dammit.
