The Accident

You and your boyfriend Kellin hop out of the car and as soon as you're next to eachother your fingers intertwine with his. Tonight you're going on a dinner date because...why not!?! If you wanna go on a dinner date with Kellin FUCKING Quinn who can blame you!?! You and Kellin stroll hand in hand down the street until you reach the restaurant. You sit at the reserved table in the back and look down at your menus. Kellin starts being ridiculously stupidly funny and reads out the names of various dishes and wines out in his best French accent. You cant control your laughter.

"So, how many drinks will it take for me to make you so drunk that you say yes to a proposal?" Kellin wiggles his eyebrows and sips his wine.
You giggle "I dont know, lets see shall we?"
Kellin laughs and nods "See we shall!"
Your food arrives and you both begin eating, Kellin making stupid faces whenever you go to get a drink and you nearly choke with laughter.
"Goddammit Kellin are you TRYING to kill me!?!" You ask jokingly.
Kellin gasps "Hell no! Im just communicating with you using my face and you somehow find that funny!" He shrugs.
You roll your eyes "Well maybe you should try communicating with words, then I wont choke and nearly die whenever I try and sip my alcohol! We cant have any more by the way, we have a car waiting!"

You finish your food and walk out of the restaurant hand in hand with Kellin, towards your car. "So, have you worked out how many drinks it'll take yet?"
You smile and slide into the passanger seat. "I think only one more!"
Kellin gasps "Lets go get you another drink!"
You giggle and shake your head as Kellin hops into the drivers seat "No Kels, we can have another drink some other time, for now lets just focus on getting home and watching the episodes of Dr Who that we havent watched yet!"
Kellin rolls his eyes "You nerd!"

He turns on the radio and pulls out of the parking lot before driving down the road. You soon reach the little country road that you hate driving on at night, its so creepy and dark, there's also a bush that stops you from seeing round the corner which always worries you. Kellin drives slower around the corner, aware at how nervous this road makes you.
"Relax baby, its alri-"
"KELLIN LOOK OUT!!!" You scream as a car speeds towards you head on. Kellin tries to swerve to the right but isnt quick enough, the car hits you and everything goes black.

You wake up and see Kellin unconscious and bleeding beside you. The car hit him on his side of the car, thats why Kellin swerved to the right rather than the left, so you didnt get hurt. You've got a bit of whip-lash but other than that you're fine. You reach over with your arm and shake Kellins shoulder. He doesnt stir or even move. You watch his body for a moment. He's still breathing but not as often as he should be. You climb over him and reach into his pocket for his phone. Magically its still in one piece.
"Hello accident emergency, how can I help you?"
"ME AND MY BOYFRIEND HAVE HAD A COLLISION WITH A CAR ON WHITE WAYS AND NEED AN AMBULANCE IMMEDIATELY, MY BOYFRIEND IS BADLY INJURED AND UNCONSCIOUS!!!" You scream down the phone.
"Alright miss, calm down, Im sending an ambulance over immediately. Any sign of the driver of the other vehicle?"
You look around and see a man stumbling around. "Yes. He's drunk." You say through gritted teeth.
"A police car is also on the way, they'll be with you shortly. Please try and remain calm, everything's going to be fine. Goodbye now." You hang up.
You look at Kellins unconscious face, he's bleeding. You kiss his bleeding lip softly, not caring if you get blood in your mouth, this is the man you love.
Kellins eyes open slightly "Hey baby, what happened?"
You smile slightly at him. "You, Mr Quinn, tried to swerve the car to stop me getting hurt by a drunk driver which ended in you becoming seriously injured, the authorities and paramedics are on their way. You idiot Kellin, this could've been me and everything would've been fine, you would've been fine!" Tears fall from your eyes.
Kellin lifts a hand and cups your cheek with it, stroking the tears away. "Dont cry baby. Im glad it was me and not you thats seriously injured. I couldnt live without you but you can move on from me."
You shake your head with confusion "You're talking as though you're about to die!?!"
Kellin nods "Because I am."
You shake your head frantically as your heart falls to your feet. "No Kellin. No no no. I cant live without you. You will not die. You've still gotta buy me that drink remember?"
Kellin laughs slightly and shakes his head "Someone else will take my place, someone else will have to buy you a drink."
"No. I dont want someone else. I want you! Please Kellin, dont give up, stay with me!" You beg, sobbing.
"Shhh baby its alright. I'll always love you, even if Im not here to say it. Goodbye baby, I love you so much." He leans up and kisses you softly before falling back in his chair and closing his eyes.
"No, Kellin no! Please, stay with me!" You beg, shaking his shoulders. He doesnt stir. Then you hear sirens. But even that noise doesnt give you the relief you so desperately need.

Kellin lies on a hospital bed, eyes shut, wires going in and out of him, he's also connected up to a heart monitor. The good news is he's alive. The bad news? He's in a coma. He's been in a coma for the past week. You dont know when, if he'll ever, wake up and you miss him like crazy. You sit beside his bed, his hand in yours, crying your eyes out. You love him so much. This cant be the end. Dont let this be the end. Please!
"Baby?" A croaky voice you know so well can be heard. The person clears their throat "Baby?" They ask again.
Your head snaps up to see Kellin is awake, looking over at you with a worried and confused expression. "K-Kellin!?! Y-You're alive!?!"
Kellin nods and opens his arms, you instantly crawl into them and snuggle into his hospital gown. Kellin kisses your hair. "I missed you baby."
You cry harder "I missed you too Kels, you have no idea how painful the past week has been!"
Kellin gasps and his arms tighten around you "I've been out for a week!?! Im so sorry baby!"
You shake your head into his chest "Dont worry about it Kels, I survived for you."
Kellin sighs "Thank god!"
You giggle "So, how're you feeling?"
Kellin laughs "Well enough to buy you that drink!"
You laugh with him and lean up to kiss him softly before shaking your head "You're unbelievable and I love you."
Kellin smiles widely "Seeing as I've been gone for a week, is there a higher chance that you'll say yes?"
You raise an eyebrow "A higher chance than definitely? If thats even possible then I guess so!"
Kellin chuckles and kisses your lips softly "I forgot to say something earlier." He whispers.
You raise an eyebrow "What did you forget to say Mr Quinn?"
Kellin smiles adorably "I love you too." You wrap your arms around him, tangling your fingers in his hair, kissing him in a way that you probably shouldnt seeing as he just woke up from a week long coma, but you dont care. You love him.
