He Saves You From Your Abusive Boyfriend

Oh god. He's coming at you again. This time with a rock solid fist instead of an open palm. He punches you in the face, forcing you to the ground.
"Now listen here you little bitch!" He snarls. You nod frantically. "We're going to go shopping for my beers and drugs now and you are gonna behave!" You nod again, not wanting to get anymore abuse. He pulls you up by your arms and forces you out the door.

You're clinging onto the shopping cart in fear as he walks infront of you, picking up cases of beer and various drugs. You'll be paying for all of this of course. You carefully add up the cost of how much all of this is.
"Umm...honey?" You say quietly.
He turns sharply "Yes bitch, what is it?"
You gulp "I-I cant afford all of this stuff...c-could you put some of it back?"
His face hardens and he marches over to you. "What did you just say bitch?"
You shake your head "I-I-"
He holds your chin in one of his hands "WHAT DID YOU SAY!?!?!" He drops his hand and shakes his head before slapping you hard across the face. You fight back tears. "Im going to get some stuff from a different aisle, behave yourself and dont make a fuss!" You nod frantically.

As soon as he's out of sight you fall to the floor, clutching the side of your face. Someone rushes over to you and puts a hand on your back, you jerk away.
"H-Hey are you alright?" A soft yet manly voice asks.
You nod and try to convince him "Y-Yeah, I-Im totally fine." You stand up and sniffle, putting on your best fake smile at the man.
He gasps "Who did that to your face!?!" He has long-ish black hair and gorgeous eyes. He's gorgeous in general.
"O-Oh, I-I slipped." You lie.
He shakes his head "That was not caused by a slip, did someone hit you?" Thats all it takes, you burst into tears again. The man wraps his arm around you "Shhh, its alright."
"I-It was my boyfriend. I-I wasnt doing as I was told. H-He hit me. Y-You have to go, he-he'll see you!" You cry.
The man shakes his head "No, c'mon, I'll take you to my place, you'll be safe there."
"A-Are you sure?" You ask.
He nods "Positive."

He unlocks his house and walks you inside, he sits you on the couch and crouches down infront of you. "My name's Kellin, Kellin Quinn. Whats yours?"
You sniffle "(Y/N)."
Kellin nods and smiles "Thats a beautiful name. Hold up, let me get you an ice pack!" He runs out of the room and seconds later returns with an ice pack, he hands it to you and you hold it against the side of your face.
"T-Thank you Kellin. I-I never knew people could be so n-nice." You stutter, hating that you cant speak normally.
"Im not gonna let that bastard hurt you anymore (Y/N), I can promise you that. You're gonna be safe now, you hear?" He winks.
Your eyes widen and you nod frantically "Y-Yes s-sir." You stutter nervously.
Kellin shakes his head and pulls you into his arms "No, no thats not what I meant (Y/N). Im not ordering you around. Im not gonna try and control you. It was just a little joke alright?"
You nod and laugh slightly "A-A joke, r-right."
Kellin smiles "So, tell me about yourself!"
You raise an eyebrow "Y-You want to get to know me?"
Kellin nods and smiles wider "Why wouldnt I? You're a beautiful girl who's been through some shit and Im here to help!"
A hand flies to your mouth as you shake your head and tears fill your eyes. "N-No, I-Im not beautiful. H-He always told me I-I was ugly and w-worthless and that nobody could ever l-love me!"
Kellin wraps a hand around yours and holds it over his heart "You feel that?" You nod, raising an eyebrow "Thats my heartbeat. My heart is currently beating for you, so that I can continue to listen to you speak and continue to look at your beautiful face, you are beautiful, somebody can love you and you are worth something. Have you ever felt real love?" He asks, raising an eyebrow.
You're thoughtful for a moment. "I-It depends. Describe love to me."
Kellin laughs slightly "Love it putting someones elses needs before yours, feeling so strongly about someone that you'd give anything for them, when you love someone you feel this...unspoken bond between you both, its a beautiful thing."
You smile slightly "No, I've never felt like that. It sounds like you've got a lot of experience though."
Kellin laughs "Not that much experience! You poor girl, love feels amazing."
You suddenly think of a question "Do you believe in love at first sight? Just, y'know, out of curiosity?"
Kellin smiles, he still hasnt let go of your hand or removed it from over his heart. "I think so, do you?"
You bite your lip "Quite possibly, though as I've never felt love I cant be sure."
Kellin smiles widely "You arent stuttering anymore!"
You giggle "I guess Im not nervous around you anymore." Kellin smiles adorably and he just looks so cute, you lean forward and kiss him. You quickly pull back. "O-Oh my god, Im so sorry! I didnt mean to-"
You're cut off when Kellin kisses you, forcing you back on the couch, your hand still on his chest. He pulls away and rests his forehead against yours "You feel that?" You bite your lip and nod "Those fireworks, did you feel them too?" You nod again, Kellin smiles and pecks your lips "Thats what love feels like. You feel my heartbeat? Now its only beating for you."
You kiss him softly "Im kinda liking this whole love thing, my heart appears to only be beating for you too! Coincidence?"
Kellin laughs "I guess I do believe in love at first sight, what about you?"
You nod frantically "Definitely!" And then he kisses you again and your whole world is perfect.
