You were waiting for the text from Justin. The confirmation, thats all you needed. He was convincing Kellin to go to the karaoke night at the pub later, and if he can persuade Kellin to go, boy do you have a surprise in store for him. You already knew that he knew the words to the song, you'd sung it several times with him before, when you were dating. But that was before. Before you were forced to leave him because you were offered your dream job in a different state, on the other side of the country. You were offered a brilliant job as an author, well paid, it was absolutely perfect. But you felt this huge hole in your chest. You and Kellin hadnt broken up because you werent working out, but because you were working out so well you didnt want to ruin it with long distance, so you thought it would be better to leave him, he knew that, but you still broke his heart and you felt terrible. Apparently your boss noticed that you were dealing with heart break by reading the work you sent her, so she said you could move back and work from home instead, so thats exactly what you've done. You moved back last week and you're settled into a place a street away from Kellin. You've tried to avoid him until tonight, he has no idea you're back yet, but you're gonna tell him tonight. Your phone beeped in your pocket.

Justin: We're on our way! He hasnt agreed to sing the song yet though. We're walking there to get some fresh air, see ya in a bit, I cant wait to see you again, I've missed you, and the happy Kellin ;)

You: Haha, awesome! Im on my way now too, I'll keep myself hidden until the first chorus of the song. I cant wait to see you either, I've missed you too dude :)

And with that you shove your phone in your pocket and run down the street to the bar. You can hear Justins laugh a few feet behind you as you round a corner, and you pray Kellin didnt see you.
"Holy shit, did you see that!?!" Kellin asks, you hide behind a tree.
"See what?" Justin asks.
"I swear I just..." Kellin runs round the corner to look for you and runs a hand through his hair, sighing heavily. "I thought I saw her man...I swear she was right there..."
Justin laughs slightly "She cant have been!"
"Yeah, you're right..." Kellin sighs again, shaking his head. Suddenly a bee flies towards you, you squeal and bat it away, damn bees! Kellin raises an eyebrow "What was that? That came from behind that tree..."
You quickly texted Justin.

You: IM BEHIND THE TREE DONT LET HIM SEE ME FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK!!!

Justins phone beeps and he gasps "Dude! You're needed indoors, I've got a job for you!" He says sneakily.
Kellin turns away from the tree, you lean out slightly to watch. "What?"
"I've got a song for you to sing!" Justin grins.
Kellin laughs "Alright, fine, tell me more!" And they walk into the bar. You out a breath you didnt realize you were holding and rest a hand on your forehead, that was TOO close! You snuck in through the back entrance and hid behind the bar stage area thing, behind the curtain. You peeked through the gap at the side and watched the guys walk in.
"You want me to sing Up!?! Dude, I cant, that was mine and (Y/N)'s song!" Kellin shakes his head.
Justin sighs "Right, you leave me no choice!" He gets his phone out.
Kellin raises an eyebrow "What are you doing!?!"
"Texting (Y/N) to see what SHE thinks about this whole thing!" Justin replies sassily, then your phone beeps.

Justin: Kellin is refusing to sing Up because its "your song" :/

You: Sing it dude! Sing it like you mean it! Put all your heart and soul and amazing vocals into it! If you dont sing that mother fucking song I will personally post that video of you dancing naked that I kept for...reasons XP
