Okay so this chapter is based on a song from one of my favourite childhood movies.

Maybe the Germans will get which one I mean😉
(I'm dropping some hints)

French translation will be there for you.
Please don't hate me for my French is not my first language.
I learn it in school yes...but I'm rather interested in my beautiful teacher😏🤷‍♀️

Enjoy!

You were walking through the with people crowded streets of Paris.
Ah yes Paris- the city of love.
You've always liked France, learning more about the country, the language, the people and of course the capital.

What would you do to have someone you could come here with. Somebody to love you, somebody you could love.
To wake up next to them with the perfect view onto the Eiffel Tower.
To enjoy the mornings, to go on walks in every season, enjoying the beauty of this city.
It almost seemed too romantic and too cliche. Almost.

While you were walking you were trying to find your phone in your bag. "Where the f-" before you could finish your mumbled sentence you ran into someone.
"Oh shit" the person fell to the floor with their files next to them.

"Oh mon dieu. Je suis tellement désolée, laissez moi vous aider."
(Translation: Oh my god, I'm so sorry, let me help you...")

You lean down to help the person up before grabbing their files and putting them back on a stack.

"Ici vos fichiers. Je suis terriblement désolée. Tu vas bien?"
(Translation: Here your files. I'm terribly sorry, are you alright?)

It's only now that you get a closer look at the woman. She was a little smaller than you, had blonde curls and glasses sitting perfectly on her nose.
Her eyes had a pretty brown and her lips had the red of a rose.
(How ironic)

She was the prettiest woman you've ever seen.

"Ce n'est pas un problème. Je vais bien. Merci"
(Translation: It's no problem, I'm alright. Thank you)

She says while taking the files and giving you a little smile.
And with that she walks off.
Somehow you missed her presence.
It was a city filled with millions of people, she was one of them.
Would you ever see her again?
For a moment you were thinking about turning around and walking back to her...but only for a moment.
You didn't know her or her life, you didn't know her impression of you. Would she even want to talk to you?

During the time you were thinking, the blonde woman got pulled back into the crowd of people, thinking of a certain y/h/c haired woman she just met moments ago.

Time skip- the next day

With your thoughts still filled with the woman from the previous day, you sat in a little cafe in the north of Paris.
You're eyes were fixed on the laptop in front of you but your mind was clinging onto a certain blonde.

A cough pulled you out of your thoughts.
"Pardon? Ce siège est-il pris?"
(Translation: Excuse me? Is that seat taken?

You look around and see that the cafe was now completely filled with people.
"Non. Veuillez vous asseoir."
(Translation: No, please sit down)

The woman quickly sits in front of you, putting her tea on the table.
You let your eyes wander to her and see the blonde woman from yesterday.
She also looks into your eyes, a look of shock and confusion on her face but also something else, was is relief?

"Oh c'est toi. Re-bonjour" you both giggle a bit. "Re-Bonjour"
(Translation: Oh it's you. Hi again)

You softly smile at her before looking back at your laptop.
"Oh for God's sake, why isn't this working?"
