Terugo slowly creeped out of the Alleyway. He was sneaking away from his latest kill, Kai following close behind.

'Father? Why did we kill that man?' Kai had done all the work, but he knew if he didn't give his father credit he'd hit him.

'Because he was getting a little too happy now hush.'

Kai nervously walked behind his father, he asked to kill this man while not under his control. Because there was something he wanted to say and he would forget if he used Mindjack on him.

But mainly he was using the kill to work up the courage...

'So what is it you wanted to say?'

Kai flinched scared, 'I- I have a boyfriend.'

Terugo froze, turned around, and in his shock simply stared in disbelief. 'You- You what?!'

Kai flinched and repeated himself.

'You? You have a boyfriend? Seriously? What's his name?'

'Kurono... Father.'

Terugo scoffed, 'Kurono?! Of all people you chose him?!'

'What's wrong with him?' Kai asked, sounding almost angry.

'What's wrong with him?! I'd almost be okay with it if you were dating someone from another group but he isn't even in the Yakuza!'

'And? Father, I love him.'

'Kai that's pathetic you don't even know what love is!'

'I'm learning!' Kai yelled.

Terugo took a step back, eye wide. But it didn't even appear that Kai had realized he'd just yelled at his father. Either that or he'd truly lost his mind because he did it again!

'Father I don't care if I'm not good at love! I just want to be with him! I've been obedient! I've done everything you've asked for my entire life! Just let me have this one thing! Please just let me be with him!' He cried.

Terugo stared, stunned. Usually, Kai was so submissive and quiet. How important was this boy he was willing to yell at him?

'K-Kai...'

'Please...' Kai sobbed, 'Please Father, I just want to be with him.' He took a few steps forward and gripped onto his father's black pinstripe suit, crying into the material. 'I'll never ask for anything ever again. I just want to be with Kurono. Please father, please.'

Terugo pushed Kai away, 'If I let you date him without the worry of his death will you stop crying? It's annoying.'

Kai nodded vigorously, immediately drying away his tears. 'Please just please leave him alone! I'll do anything just let me be with him please!'

Terugo sighed, 'Apologize to me for yelling.'

'I'm sorry father.'

'Good.' Terugo closed his eyes, 'Dazi would want me to let him be with Noruko or whatever his name was.' He opened his eyes again and looked at Kai, 'Fine, just shut it, and don't let me hear you yell at me again.'

'I promise.' Kai said.

'Good boy, let's go.'

'Yes, father.'
