'So... Like how should I approach Eri? She knows me quite well... So-'

'Oh, she's already here.' Poltergeist said, mindlessly scrolling through Pinterest.

'What?!'

'Yeah, she got here like... A week ago.'

'So before I even had the idea?'

'Yes.'

'Why didn't you tell me?!' Terugo yelled.

Poltergeist looked up from his phone, and completely deadpan said, 'Well you never asked.'

Terugo huffed and slumped back in his chair. 'Well, where is she?'

'I dunno.'

'Of course, you don't.'

Terugo stared at him for a while, he had gotten back on his phone. 'Well?'

'Well, what?'

'Go find her damnit!'

'Fine!'

Poltergeist had started taking care of Kai himself again. Since Hades seemed to make Kai try to run away more frequently. But Terugo noticed that the more time he spent with Kai the more defiant he became. 'I wonder if that'll be an issue...'

'Haiburiddo.'

'What?' She spat, annoyed she still hadn't been allowed to see Kai.

'The boss wants you.'

'Of course, that bastard wants me.' She stood up, she was wearing a loose white t-shirt, blue jeans, and brown ankle boots. Her long black hair was messy and knotted. She wasn't wearing any of her usual flamboyant makeup, or her old hero outfit. She looked stressed. 'And when can I see Kai?!'

'Soon, relax.' Poltergeist sighed, 'Anyway, c'mon I'll show you where it is.'

Eri sighed, but followed Poltergeist anyway.

The walk there held most of Terugo's twisted ideas. He loved going for walks around the base and with how many ideas are always rolling through his head he had to leave post-it notes everywhere. Some had been there so long the adhesive had worn away leaving a bunch of colorful post-its on the floor.

Manticore picked one of them up and read what was on it. 'He once had the idea to create a poison so strong it killed someone instantly?' She muttered, she couldn't quite understand how he would make them. But he could understand where he was coming from.

Her eyes widened as she thought maybe he wanted her in the group.

Present Mic Voice: Former Hero: Scorpion! Real Name: Haiburiddo Eri! Quirk: Scorpion! She has a giant scorpion tail, this tail allows her to stun or kill her opponents. Her poison is strong enough to take a grown man out in seconds!

Was he planning to use her for her poison?

'That idea was that sparked the whole, 'Virus 13' thing.'

'Virus 13?'

'That's what he's calling the stuff.' Poltergeist turned the handle, but he didn't open the door. 'Uh... Fair warning, the boss is a bit... Eccentric. Keep him entertained and you should be fine. His hearing is poor so speak loudly, and make sure to be polite.'

'I'll be polite when he apologizes for killing the love of my life.'

'He never killed Izumi, All for One did.'

'Well, he set him up to it!'

'Haiburrido, calm yourself, get this over with.'

'Fine.'

Poltergeist opened the door and quietly wished her luck.

'Well then, so how long have you been here?'

'About a week.' She crossed her arms.

'About a week, sir.' Terugo corrected with a frown. 'Mind your manners, and know your place. Have you seen him yet?'

'No, this bastard won't let me.'

'Good, even if he never told me you were here at least he was still doing his job.' He glared at Poltergeist, who merely shrugged in response.

'So, about your name,' Terugo sneered, 'I was thinking...' He traced invisible wings on her, 'Manticore.'
