Fun Fact: Chronos only smiled during photoshoots, and even then the trained eye could tell it was forced. He loved his job but smiling just wasn't something he did often (Chronos even complained after they were done shooting that his cheeks hurt from forcing a smile for so long)

'Finally feeling better?' Poltergeist asked.

'Yeah... I mean I can form a coherent thought and I'm able to walk again. Still a bit dizzy though...' Medusa answered.

'Oh my god finally!' Terugo sighed. 'You're better! Come with me.'

Medusa hesitated but stood up, stumbling a bit but steadying themself quickly. They took a few steps and managed to find their footing after another step or two. 'Okay...' They whispered and followed Terugo to his office.

'Now that you've finally recovered.' Terugo smiled, 'I have questions.'

Medusa sighed, 'Right, shoot.'

'Medusa, quirk, go.'

'Shouldn't you know? You gave it to me.'

'Technically, All for One gave it to you. And I don't know exact details.' Terugo said.

'Neither do I! I haven't tested this thing!'

'Do not,' Terugo hissed, 'Raise your voice at me. You are not in charge here, learn your place.' He kicked Akari's leg under the table.

Akari flinched but didn't cry out, their body was still pretty sensitive. They refused to be seen as weak by this damned man. 'So... You'll have to train with Stone or something?'

'Maybe? I mean I guess it's a simple quirk.'

'Then explain it.'

'I... Don't really know how.'

Terugo sighed, 'Fine whatever, next question, how old are you?'

Medusa hesitated, '24.'

'Don't lie to me.'

Medusa sighed again and leaned back in the uncomfortable seat. 'Fine... I'm only 17.' They muttered.

'17? I thought you were like... 19, 20. How are you an A Rank at such a young age?'

'Murder. Arson. Robbery. Y'know, the lot.'

'Oh, wow.' Terugo was pleasantly surprised, he suddenly had a newfound respect for this villain. 'I was about to ask what your crimes were. Hm, anyway, lover?'

'Why do you need to know?' Medusa narrowed their eyes.

'Why not?' Terugo smiled.

Medusa hesitated, 'His... His name is Haru Daisuke.'

'Oh, do you do have a boyfriend.'

Medusa's face turned a little red, 'Y-Yeah.'

'Would he be a distraction to you?' Terugo's tone suddenly turned serious.

They immediately realized why Terugo wanted to know. So, knowing they weren't going to get out of this group now that they were here, 'No! I promise! Anything you ask, just give me a deadline and I'll get it done I swear!' They panicked.

Terugo twirled the pen in his fingers, 'So long as you get your work done by the deadline I give you, Haru will live, and I'll still allow you to see him. But fail me even once,' He ran his thumb across his neck in a slicing motion, 'He's dead. Got it?'

'Yes sir, I promise I won't fail.' Medusa said.

Terugo sneered, 'Excellent. Now, one last question.'

'R-Right, yes sir.'

'How could you keep me afloat?' Terugo asked, 'Everyone here has to work for the business I use to keep from attracting suspicion. So, how can you keep that business from crashing?'

'Everyone here? And you still need me to keep from crashing?' Medusa chuckled. 'That's pretty pathetic.'

Terugo shrugged, 'Fair, but say I lose a massive amount of my workforce. What if suddenly you're needed. How can you work for me?'

Medusa bit the inside of his cheek, 'Uh... I guess it'd depend on what your business does.'

'We create technology.'

'I can sweep your floors.'

'Seriously?' Terugo asked, annoyed.

'Tech isn't my thing.'

'Bodyguard?'

'I- I guess that could work? I mean I can fight pretty well. I am a black belt in Karate.'

'Works with me,' Terugo giggled, 'Welcome to the team, Medusa.'
