Kai's Villain Outfit

Fun Fact: Poltergeist was never programmed to like Kai or care about him, just to protect him. So his caring is his genuine feelings.

(This is mainly gonna be with Kai in the foreground, but Terugo is in there)

After Dinner, Terugo took Kai out shopping. 'I've been meaning to fashion you a villain outfit myself, I think I'll let you pick out your own. I'll be waiting right at the door.' A little of Terugo's true motivations shined through in his sneer.

'Well, go on.' Terugo snickered.

Kai nodded slowly, the sneer alone was enough to send a chill down his spine.

Kai looked around at the clothes. 'It's weird being away from father...' He muttered. He almost didn't like it. What if he lost control of his quirk? Who would stop him from getting someone killed?

He just decided that if he felt pain in his arms he'd go back. Rather be safe than sorry. He picked a plant black T-Shirt, some black sweatpants, a black mask, and black combat boots. Similar to Poltergeist's outfit, just with a mask.

He started walking back when something caught his eye, it was a hoodie similar to what Chronos wore most of the time. Light pink, short-sleeved, and with a J-Pop band on it, AKB48. Chronos' was muted pink, had medium-length sleeves, and had the same band name.

He really liked that band, and he liked the hoodie. But... The short sleeves worried him. He always wore long sleeves, always. Even if the hoodie had short sleeves he had a long-sleeved shirt under it. He'd go grab a long sleeve shirt but nothing he found was black or even darkly colored, and Father didn't let anyone wear normal clothes while fighting. It had to be their set villain outfit.

Kai sighed, deciding against it. He stopped wearing bandages as much, only wearing them right after the Blood Drain while his skin was still thin and fragile. His scars were... Creepy looking to put it lightly. They were gross.

'It wouldn't look good on me anyway...' He thought he'd just wear his jacket. You did have to wear your villain outfit, but you were allowed to accessorize. So he should be fine to wear his usual black hoodie.

Anyway, Father was waiting.

'Well, there you are! Find anything you like that isn't black?' Terugo giggled, lightly teasing him.

'Yeah... A hoodie'

'Oh fuck I wasn't expecting him to say yes.' He smiled, 'Well then where is it? I have more money than I know what to do with if you wanted you could've gotten it.'

'It was short-sleeved... I couldn't find any darkly colored long sleeve shirts either.' Kai muttered, 'I'll just wear my black one...'

Terugo stared for a second, 'I'll order you some arm warmers, they'll at least cover most of the scars. Go grab it.'

'Go... Grab what?' Kai asked.

'The hoodie you neanderthal.' Kai was confused. 'Go grab the hoodie before I change my mind damnit.'

Kai's eyes lit up with an emotion he wasn't used to seeing from him, joy. He still didn't smile, he wasn't capable, but there was joy in his eyes. 'Put those right there run back and grab the hoodie, I'll pay.'

Kai nodded, set the clothes down, and ran back to where he'd seen the hoodie.

'Am I even doing this right?' Terugo thought, looking up at the ceiling, 'He seems to trust me more, that'll make it easier to get him to do as I ask at least.'

Terugo has a Mind Controlling quirk, duh. So he's never really felt the need to manipulate someone. If they didn't do as he asked, he'd just mind control them or threaten them. He just kinda wanted to try something different with Kai.

Kai came back a few minutes later with a light pink band hoodie. 'Pink? Seriously?'

Kai flinched, 'I'm sorry.'

Terugo looked him up and down. Kai was muscular, had shoulder-length hair tied back in a messy bun, and was wearing his Kaisei uniform. He had red eyeshadow, light pink blush, and sparkly red lipgloss. Had he gotten taller? They were about the same height by now. And Terugo was 5'2"

'You're fine. Let's just go.'

'O-Okay.'
