Chapter 11: The Talk

(Charlie's POV)

"Dude so let me get this straight. Miku is the one with headphones, Nino is the one with butterfly accessories on her head, Itsuki is the one with stars accessories on her head, Yotsuba is the one with the green ribbon on her head and Ichika I'll just know from her personality did I get that all right?" You asked Uesugi who was in the kitchen doing homework, gosh he was a nerd but that's what you like about him.

His dedication and attitude in what he liked doing, are exactly what made him a great chef alongside you.

"Charlie! Again with this, you're getting distracted do the questions I gave out to you to answer."

"I already did." You smirked as Uesugi went to snatch your paper checking your work.

"You got most of them correct well done."

"You still didn't answer my question about the Quintuplets."

"Fine to answer your question yes that's how you spot the difference between them."

"It's kinda crazy how you have a harem, something you want to tell me." You nudged Uesugi

"Harem? What's that."

"Nevermind dude."

"What about you Charlie do you have something to tell me about you and Ito after all you guys did do that one thing the other day where you guys both dr-"

"I do not want to talk about that ever again."

What happened in that hangout, stays in that hangout day.

"You never told me that you were a pretty popular guy when it came to the world of soccer."

You raised your hand for him to stop talking. "It's called football, not soccer, and you don't even care about it."

"You're right about that."

"Anyways how has your life been lately Uesugi?'

"Life huh? Well the quintuplets decided to move out of their apartment and rented a house near me, they're finding it hard to pay the rent so they decided that they're all going to work."

"That's interesting hey why don't you ask them to work here didn't you say Nino works here we could use all the manpower we could get."

"But wouldn't we have to ask permission from Akira."

"Old man? Of course we do but if Nino is good as you say she is he'll defiantly hire her."

"You shouldn't be calling him old man you know."

"He right, you deserve a pay rise for that." You both looked as you saw Akira chuckling.

"I'm going to head off now, so man the fort down on E-floor I'll be back." He exited the building.

You both thought that was weird.

After a couple of hours, we now only had 2 hours on your shift, you both continued making the basic foods that the customer requested of you of course now that you and Uesugi have been working with each other for a week and a half. You both understood how each other worked when it came to cooking.

Even Akira called you a great mix..

"So Charlie, how long have you been working at E-floor for?"

"About 6 months now." You said casually.

"6 months! Am I going to be here as well for 6 months?"

"Huh, who knows but I have feeling that we'll get out here and move to D-floor." You exclaimed. Uesugi felt reassured as well.
