MARCO
As the newest member of the Royale U-20 team, I couldn't believe my luck when they invited me to join them at a K-pop concert. I wasn't a big fan like Josh regarding K-pop, but I was grateful to be here. We arrived at the stadium and were immediately struck by the size of the crowd. The sea of fans stretched as far as the eye could see, all dressed in their favourite group's colours and chanting their names.
As we made our way to our seats, I couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and nerves. This was my first time at a concert of this scale, and I wasn't sure what to expect.
"Holy shit," Charlie said.
I immediately looked at him, who was smiling at what was around him.
How loud the nose of the crowd was.
"There are more people here at this stadium wanting to watch these idols perform than at the opening game for the preseason," Charlie chuckled.
Josh slapped him on the back.
"Of course there is. This is South Korea we're talking about. . . And not to be harsh, but did you see your performance, man? It wasn't the best," Josh said casually.
Charlie laughed it off, but I could tell that hurt him.
We were all there when we watched that match.
He played well, better than we could've done, for sure, but until that moment, he decided to get a goal for himself; that's when he messed up.
If he were playing on the U-20 Royale team, that would work. He would've scored a goal in that situation, but the first division is on another level.
The pressure was more intense.
The energy in the stadium was electric as the K-pop group took to the stage.
And I would lie if I said I couldn't take my eyes off them.
If my jaw could drop to the ground, it definitely would if I stared at the idols for too long.
"What the fuck. . ." Josh muttered.
"They're all so pretty." Calvin finished off his sentence.
I was glad I wasn't the only person feeling this way; how could a group of girls be that pretty?
I quickly looked over to check Charlie's reaction; it was what I expected of him.
Unphased.
It seemed that he was not amazed by the group's beauty; he just stood there waiting for the performance to happen.
"Dude, I'm sorry to say this, but those girls about there are a pinnacle of beauty," Josh pointed at them, looking at Charlie.
"I'd be real. They're way prettier than Ito and Mei combined, and I thought they were pretty. . . But these girls are on another level of pretty. Especially the one second to the right. . . If I could get my hands on them." Josh jokingly said, rubbing his hands together.
I checked out who he was talking about, and I saw no lie at all. The girl had light orange-blonde hair that was long and flowed perfectly, and she also had bangs.
She had bright eyes that shone like stars. Her skin was smooth and flawless, and her lips were painted cherry red. She was a perfect height for a girl, slender but not skinny, with curves in all the right places. Her body seemed to have been chiselled out of marble.
She was the definition of perfect.
No, all the other girls were the same.
"Josh, you need to relax with your horny imaginations." Calvin chuckled.
