(Charlie's POV)

It was time. It was time to win. Everything that you did was all for this moment, for a glorious purpose. You weren't going to let anyone take this moment away from you.

It was time for the final showdown.

It didn't matter but one thing for sure was that it was time to play this game to the best of our abilities.

The noises from outside the locker room echoed all the way here. That was how loud the crowd was right now. It was astonishing to hear, this was the game that everyone was waiting for.   Articles were building this game up to be the biggest U-20 game known to man.

Were you up to the task? You didn't know, but it didn't matter.

While there was noise reaching the locker room, the people in the locker room were dead silent, getting themselves hyped for a game to remember.

"Everyone in this room is well aware of the issues at hand. The cup final: victory or failure. Some of you, though, may be of the opinion that there will be other seasons, finals, and winning opportunities. Take my advice! Ask yourself how many more chances you have left before you enter that field. How many more seasons will there be before you stop playing football? Are you aware? What you accomplish on that field with your brothers today is all that matters. Consider each sprint, tackle, pass, and shot as your final one. Your only cup final, your first cup final, and your last cup final are this one. That is all good luck." The manager walked out of the locker room, not before giving you a quick glance, it seemed like he wanted you to give some word of advice to your teammates.

You stood up as everyone locked their eyes on you, waiting patiently for what you had to say.

"Life will take place. And while you'll set up a plan, have a vision, and hope that everything will work out perfectly, what frequently transpires in life is that things go wrong. And things start to go awry. You will have to decide how you will respond at that precise moment. You must decide what to do. Do you have the appropriate response or the incorrect response? Some of us are tempted to just lay here and wait for it to pass. You will always be in a vicious circle, I'm telling you. You must stand up. Win because the instant you feel fear, you've already lost." You stated.

Your teammates roared at the motivational speech, standing up, as we all headed to the tunnel.

(TIMESKIP)

We made our way to the tunnel and there he was.

Micheal Kaiser.

He was standing in line focused on the game at hand. You lined up beside him with no reaction on your face, as Josh was behind you next to Benedict Grim, Sae next to Alexis Ness, Calvin next to Erik Gesner and Marco next to Sachs.

The noises of the crowd were louder than ever before. You soaked in every reaction of the crowd as you waited in the tunnel, as the suspense grew bigger and bigger.

"The Sparkling Hope of Japan, I've heard so much about you. . . but when I see you now you're nothing special are you?" Kaiser said without looking at you, jumping up and down on the spot, warming himself up.

"You know that nickname of mine?" You asked, as Kaiser simply chuckled.

"Of course, I do, why wouldn't I? After all, I did do some research on you. It says you were one hell of a player back in Japan, but what happened to you in Spain did something change?"

You kept your mouth shut as you didn't want him in your head. He was already playing mind games with you.

"I can't wait to destroy your team." He chuckled. "After all I did it when Josh was the star man of this team, I can do it again. Isn't that right Josh?" Kaiser mockingly questioned him.
