(Kaito's POV)
"Do you really still have a grudge against Charlie?" Hideo pinged the ball at me as I received it with the inside of my foot with my first touch.
"It's not that I have a grudge against him anymore I'm just simply pissed at him for throwing that game away when we could've won?" I pinged the ball back to him.
I'd be honest I gave Hideo half-truths and half-lies about where I stand with Charlie. I just didn't want Hideo to know the full truth about how I felt about him in the first place.
"You really don't see it, do you brother?" He kicked the ball to the stands, just like Charlie did at that game. As he walked up to me with his hands in his pockets.
"See what?"
"Even if Charlie didn't throw that game away, we would still lose." Hideo simply said to my face.
"What? How so."
"He was trying to send you a message, saying that you were completely dependent on him to win, did you not see what he did to the opposition team, he humiliated them all by himself."
What Hideo was saying was true, so he really was trying to send me a message.
"In other words, he was trying to say to know my place, am I getting this right?"
"Harsh! But correct. Your preciously right on the mark." Hideo gave me applause as I found out the answer.
"But honestly no matter how much you hated him after the game, the least you could've done as a friend was see him off at the airport."
"I know, I know I just wasn't thinking straight."
Hideo sighed at your remark, "Do you ever think straight these days, now I feel as though the roles have been reversed between us two."
Hideo pointed at me. "You being the immature one, while I'm the one that's serious."
"Yeah, I guess you're right about that." I simply said.
"Well enough of that shit did you see Charlie's press conference." Hideo smiled.
"Yeah I did it was so terrible that it was so funny, I mean come on how can you possibly blunder your Spanish in front of the media." I laughed.
"I couldn't agree with you more." A figure giggled
We were interrupted as we looked to see who it was.
It was Ito, who was with Ruqa and Kaeda.
Kaeda immediately went up to Hideo.
"Are will still going bowling?" Kaeda questioned Hideo
"O-of course we are duh! Obviously." Hideo stumbled with his words.
It most defiantly seems that they have both gotten close to one another.
Ruqa simply nodded at me not wanting to be involved in any kind of situation that could unfold. Ruqa was a smart girl for some reason she had a very good intuition. Something told me even though she wasn't showing it on her face, that she knew that something was off about me. I would have to deal with her later. While Ito came up to me, wanting to say something that was bothering her.
"Why did you ask me to hang out with you?" She crossed her arms, as she repeatedly tapped her foot on the ground, waiting for an answer.
"Cause why not, I mean we haven't spent time with one another in a while so I just thought it would be nice to spend some time together," I said.
Ito eyed me suspiciously.
"Fine, but don't think you can make this into a date of some thoughts, you do know I have a boyfriend that I care more about than you." She sternly stated.
"A date? I never insinuated such things." Now I was standing beside where only she could hear these words that were coming out of my mouth. "Anyways I already know that shitty secret of yours." Her eyes widened, as I walked passed her and exited the area.
(TIMESKIP)
It seems as though my phone started ringing, I looked to see who the caller ID was, and as I did I accepted the call.
Kaito: Akira how may I help you?
Akira: Did you do what I told you to do?
Kaito: Yes I told her that I knew her secret, but what is her secret exactly sir?
Akira: That's something you don't need to know but thank you.
Kaito: No worries sir.
Akira: And now I'll have Charlie prepare for the charity event, and he'll finally get to meet two lovely individuals, and who knows maybe they'll be some sparks.
And that was it you ended the call, looking up at the sky, how was Charlie doing on the other. . .
Side.
