(Charlie's POV)
We were currently walking back to the hotel, but you had other plans. It was time for you to have a reunion with some old friends of yours.
"Sae, would you be interested in joining me, in seeing some of my old friends?"
Sae said nothing as you both continued walking, you knew exactly what was going on with Sae, as you placed your hand on his shoulder, stopping him from walking anymore.
"Turn around Sae. . . Let me look at your face." You said in a bitter tone.
Sae reluctantly turned around for you to see, and you were spot on.
Tears streaming down his face. As the tears continued to fall, Sae took a deep breath and tried to compose himself.
"If you're going to cry. . . don't cry in front of me." You stated.
It didn't matter to Sae as all he wanted was a hug from anyone. It didn't matter which version of you or who it was as long as you were you that was all that was needed.
Sae gave you a manly hug, to which you had no reaction but you accepted it.
No words were needed, as you both broke out of the hug. You already knew what was going on and why he did what he did to his brother Rin. He's talked about this before but you never expected such a reaction from Sae.
You made Sae who he was, it was all because of you that he said what he said to Rin. You were the main root of the problems that you made between the brothers.
It was all because you showed who truly was the better player between the both of you, making him change his position in wanting to become the best midfielder as he knew that being the best striker would not be possible if you were standing in the way of that.
Interestingly enough not only did you do that to Sae, but you also changed the way he thought, specifically his ideology in football. He had realised that no Japanese talented player who would stay in Japan would ever make a change for Japan in the World Cup. Only a player who was Japanese and talented and who moved to Europe would make that change.
You were the exact player he was talking about.
The one that could win the World Cup for Japan.
There was a certain memory you had that you remembered a while back when you were in Japan.
Blue Lock.
You wondered how much they've done with that, and if any of those pathetic players could rise to become the ultimate striker.
But never mind that now it was time to head off to meet them again.
"You should head off Sae, I got some catching up to do."
Sae nodded continuing his walk to the hotel.
(Hideo's POV)
"Come on this is getting too easy one more time Hideo?" Kaito snickered at me, all I could was shrug in defeat as Kaeda and Ruqa were on the sidelines watching me as I got battered by my brother in a 1v1.
"Kaito is right you know, you're never going to impress me with those sloppy dribbles of yours," Kaeda shouted on the sidelines.
All right, that was all the motivation I needed to at least one goal for my brother.
"Fine! This is where I'll score a goal on you. Just watch bro!"
"That's what I like to hear! Bring it on!"
(Hideo vs Kaito)
I currently possessed the ball, I was quick to catch on to what Kaito was trying to do in this situation to get the ball off me. It was a smart move and probably would have worked on anyone else, but it definitely would not work on me.
