(Charlie's POV)

The weekend had finally arrived. You were looking forward to doing absolutely nothing for the day. You were in your bed, counting by the days. In hopes that they would draw the teams. Who would be battling it out with one another in the UEFA Youth?

You decided you needed something to eat, as you opened your door, the first thing you see was Sae chilling on the couch. He was waiting for you to come out of your room.

"Good morning Charlie. Come take a seat on the couch." Sae glanced over his shoulder as he told you to take a seat.

This was starting to get extremely weird. Sae never told you to do anything, but it must have been important, as you obliged, sitting next to him.

"I assume you're wondering why I want to talk to you, am I right?"

"I'd be lying if I said I wasn't, so why exactly are you talking to me now? We don't usually talk unless it's important, so I'm assuming this is important?" You questioned him.

"Exactly right, spot on Charlie. I want to talk to you about something Josh said to me during our match together. It made me realise something about myself and who I am." He continued to look forward, watching the TV that was broadcasting the actual starting 11 of Royale playing in the Champions League against P-X-G as P-X-G had just scored a goal making 0-1 to P-X-G.

"What did he make you realise?"

"He made me realise that. . . I'm not fit to be a striker." He turned off the TV. The comment he had just said made your jaw drop. You were certainly not expecting this to come out of Sae's mouth.

"You're joking right. . . right?"

"How Lukewarm. You always think things are a joke but no, I'm afraid this time it's not a joke.  Josh made me see how inferior and insignificant I am compared to other strikers around the world. Including you as well." He looked at you dead in the eye as he said that.

"That's insane to say. We're practically on the same level as each other I one-up you, you one-up me. That's how things have been working between us."

Sae just simply sighed.

"That's where you're wrong, in a recent match of ours you scored a goal, but I didn't, I couldn't make an impact on the game, I wasn't good enough. So can I ask you this question, Charlie?"

"Sure go ahead."

"How can you see the same thing as me? But you don't have the same ability as me?"

This question got you thinking. You didn't really understand what he could see, even though he explained it to you perfectly and clearly, you just haven't experienced it yet.

"I don't know, I just look into someone's eyes and I get a glimpse of what they're going to do next, the more I look at them, the more I'll be able to read them to the point where I can fully read and know every single trick that they'll do. But let's say they enter a whole new form, state or level then I'll have to repeat the whole process again."

"Wait so let's say that an individual who can see what I see collecting data on a person. Every play and after processing that information can respond to their movements instantaneously and without even being seen. Arriving at the most crucial time of their moves and successfully shutting down their attack or getting past their defence with ease. Versus a person, who knows what  an individual will do the more times they look at a person, till the point where he can fully read them."

"Those abilities of yours and mine seem eerily similar." You chimed in.

"No, but they're also so different."
