(Charlie's POV)
"Oh, man! This popcorn really is delicious!"
Josh excitedly said but the reaction that we all had was quite the opposite."Really Josh? You bring popcorn to a serious conversation that Charlie is about to share with us." Calvin scoffed at Josh, as Josh simply shrugged it off.
"Well obviously! It's probably going to be a long but entertaining story. . . I mean it's about time you told us." Josh pointed at me.
"I guess you're right about that Josh. . . If you have any questions, I'll answer them when I'm finished with the story."
They all nodded their heads.
(FLASHBACK)
You walked up to Kaiser who was on the ground, as he soaked in the defeat that you had just bestowed upon him.
"Well played Kaiser." You simply said.
He looked up at you, but the words that came out of his mouth were unexpected as a slight smile appeared on his face.
"I had to let you win, didn't I. I mean imagine if you lost. Your career and your fans would have dropped you in a heartbeat. . . Congratulations, Charlie. You deserve it."
He stood up from the ground and offered his hand out to you, as you accepted his handshake.
"You're one hell of a player Charlie next time I'm on his team. . ." Ness came up saying.
"Or maybe he came to join us." Ness jokingly said.
"Yeah no chance," You chuckled. "But I appreciate the gesture. . . and not mention would you guys be down to grab a bite before you leave?"
They nodded their head in yes.
"Excuse me could we take a quick photo of the two prodigies?"
The reporters came rushing in with cameras on the pitch as you both agreed to take a picture with each other side by side.
Both Ness and Kaiser went off the pitch shortly after, as you celebrated with your team in winning the finals of the U-20 UEFA Champions League.
You were unable to believe what had just occurred. The biggest reward in club soccer, the Champions League final, had just been won by us.
You were overcome with emotion as my teammates ran over to you while yelling and cheering in celebration.
The party started, and you were hoisted off the ground and launched into the air.
The crowd was going crazy, singing and screaming the name of our team. The sense of success was unfathomable, and you felt like you were on top of the world.
My teammates hugged you and gave you praise as you couldn't help but recall all the effort and commitment that had gone into getting us to this point.
"Dude you fucking goat!" Josh fist-pumped you.
"That's what I'm talking about!" Marco roared.
"You did it Charlie," Sae said to you.
"Yeah, I did." You gave him a smirk.
All of the sacrifices we had made throughout the numerous hours of training had been worthwhile.
You will always treasure and never forget this particular moment. You were incredibly thrilled to be a member of this incredible squad as we accomplished our goal of winning the Champions League.

A dream came true, truly. The roar of the fans filled my ears as you raised the Champions League trophy above your head, with your gold medal around your neck presented by Akira and not only that you felt a wave of pride. You had always envisioned yourself taking home club football's top honour, and now here you were, living that dream.
