(Charlie's POV)
"Good to see you. We've been looking forward to sitting down with you. Shall we make a start?" The manager smiled at both you and Akira, shaking both of your hands before taking a seat to sit down.
"Thank you for meeting with us. Maybe we can begin by talking about his role at the club. My client wants to be on the pitch every once and a while throughout the season." Akira said
"I agree to that. We've got plenty of competition for places in the squad here, but I can promise (Y/N) will get the playing time he's looking for."
"We're making good progress on this. We need to agree on many years he will stay in the academy for."
"We'd like to sign him up on a 4-year contract in the Royale academy."
"Yes. That's what we're looking for. Let's continue."
"We weren't looking to include a release clause in his contract at this point. I assume that's fine with you."
"We don't see the need to include a release clause in Charlie's contract either."
"Next thing on the agenda is probably my client's salary. He's looking for at least $1000 per week. We'd be expecting a $20000 signing-on bonus and a further bonus of $50000 when he scores 20 goals for the club."
"Okay. We're willing to take Charlie on those wages. We're just keen to see him join up with his new teammates."
The manager stood up, and you and Akira did the same shaking your hands with the manager as he told you that he had high expectations and hope you'd do successfully in this club. Now it was time to sign this contract for the media to see for themselves.
(TIMESKIP)
"Itoshi Sae how does it feel knowing that you are about to join the biggest club in Europe?" One of the reporters asked, sitting on a chair.
"It feels great I believe that I can display my skills for everyone to see," Sae responded in his monotone voice.
He pointed at another reporter who was ready to ask a question. "With being so young and joining the Royale U-20 Academy do you feel the pressure on you?"
"Obviously I do feel a lot of pressure, however, I've dealt with the pressure in Japan I can do it in Spain." He replied.
Now he pointed at the final reporter he was willing to answer from.
"Itoshi Sae with you joining Royale is there a chance of you being a part of the new generation One of the world's 11 heroes, but of course, there is competition from the next guy who we will be interviewing."
"I believe I can be a part of the world's 11 heroes, and the next guy who you'll be interviewing will be a tough challenge to beat, but I believe I have the upper hand." He looked at me where I was standing near the curtains so no one could see me, when I got ready to prepare for my interview.
"Thank you that is all." The reporter finished off, as Sae signed the contract with the manager next to him, shaking his hand and presenting his shirt which displayed the number 8 on it.
Now finished standing up from his chair and walking over to you, he patted you on the shoulder, "Good luck Charlie." You nodded as you headed to the seat that Sae had just sat on it.
You decided you wanted to address the press as you thought that would give a good impression on the media, this was something Sae couldn't do not because he didn't have the ability to, but because he was too serious all the time to bother addressing the press and going straight for the answers. Obviously, you were going to try your best to say this in Spanish. Let's hope you don't get cancelled for your horrible Spanish.
