(No One's POV)
"What is the illustration created by John Holcroft trying to say and represent the changing nature of the human experience in the 21st Century?"
"It's trying to say-"
"To depict the monotonous routine that people are subjected to, which ultimately strips them of any autonomy over the choices they make in life!" Ito interrupted Charlie with her answer.
"5 points to Gryffindor."
"What!" You mumbled out loud.
"Uesugi did you not just see her interrupt my answer,? Sae back me up here that is so not fair!." Charlie did his best to plead with Sae, but Sae turned a blind eye shrugging his shoulder.
"Traitor," Charlie muttered out.
Ito leaned closer to Charlie as she flicked his nose.
"Life isn't fair Mr.Popular. You're stuck with me so. Get better." Ito gave Charlie a shit-eating grin.
Uesugi was laughing at this scene in the Zoom call he was hosting back in Japan, tutoring the 3 of them who were in Spain.
"It seems that you two have gotten more lovey-dovey during your time together in Spain." Uesugi teased the both of them.
"Agreed," Sae said.
"Of course, we're lovey-dovey, his the most caring and handsome boyfriend I could ever ask for." Ito went to squeeze Charlie to near death after a couple of seconds she broke out of the embrace to let Charlie catch his breath.
"Uesugi how is it for you over in Japan?" Charlie curiously asked.
"It's been fine I've just gone on a school camping trip with the girls. What about you Charlie? I've noticed you blowing up in the media in Japan, same goes for Sae."
"Interesting our names are still popular over in Japan, Sae." Charlie nudged Sae on the ribs.
"Popular? That's an understatement you're both an icon. If we had a prince and princess in Japan you two are the perfect role for it. You can not believe how many girls fangirl over the both of you. I'd say you're catching up to Ito's fame soon enough."
Charlie looked over at Ito with a smug look.
"You hear that Ito I guess that nickname of mine really does have meaning to it."
Ito scoffed at your remark smirking.
"Please, as if. Charlie, how many Instagram followers do you have again?" Ito asked.
"Like 5 million or 6 million followed or something."
"And you Sae?"
"I'd say 2.5 million."
"Wow! That's a really good number. Now look at this." Ito shoved her phone at Sae and his eyes widened then to Useugi who looked like he witnessed a ghost and shoved her phone at Charlie. If jaws could drop, Charlie was certainly feeling that now.
"N-No fucking way. . ."
Charlie and Sae looked at one another.
"200 million followers how is that even legal? How did I ever manage to bag you." Charlie said to a smug Ito.
"Please there's more people who have more followers than me like that Chris Prince person. Didn't know he was that popular." Ito said as she leaned in closer to Charlie to the point where their noses were touching each other.
"I'm out of your league Mr.Popular. I outclass you in everything. But to answer that question you make me feel things that no other guy has made me feel."
Ito pressed her lips against Charlie's cheek. She was most certainly blushing."I'm going to vomit so can we please move on to the next question Useugi," Sae stated as Useugi nodded to him on his facecam.
"Alright moving on to the next question what does this poem titled "4Ego" published by Denise Duhamel I want you all to read it before I give you the question," Useugi stated.
Everyone had read and analysed the poem to a certain extent, they were ready for Useugi to finally ask his question for them to answer.
"How does Dunhamel explore the innate human desire to understand our place in the world."
It seemed as though this question had stumped all of them as both Sae and Ito had hard thought about what the answer could possibly be.
"Is it something to do with being good?" Ito answered first.
"Not exactly but you're on the right track. What about you Sae what is your answer to this question."
"Is it about being special?"
"Close but not the right answer. Last but not least how about you Charlie got any ideas?"
Now all eyes were locked on Charlie as it was his time to flawlessly answer the question.
"It's simple really he explores that desire to understand our place in the world through the idea of nature vs. nurture. A battle of ideologies that may alter how much a person values various facets of life, changing the cognitive thinking of how a person sees things in society. Some people are born to be great, while others are not. Some people are talented some people are not, that's how life works."
Everyone was stunned at the answer Charlie had just given out.
"That's deep," Sae noted out.
Useugi was giving a standing ovation for Charlie clapping his hands together.
"100 points for Gryffindor, that's the best answer we had all day!" Useugi praised him, as looked at his watch.
"I think it's time to wrap this tutor session up. For my final remarks, I think you all did pretty well and I have no worries that you'll fail this test of yours. And lastly, this is mainly for Sae and Charlie. Come back to Japan once and a while things aren't the same with you guys not being here."
"Will do Usegui." Charlie and Sae both said ending the Zoom call.
Ito stretched her legs and arms out, yawning as she stood up.
"I'm going to go sleep that was one tough session. Charlie wants to join as well." Ito winked at him.
"My pleasure."
They both rushed to their room giggling as Sae entered his room.
All they knew was that they were comfortable they would ace this. . .
Test.
