(Charlie'sPOV)
Wow. Just wow.
Hideo actually pulled it off, you snickered to yourself.
Who would've thought that the guy who was always behind me and Kaito's shadow would rise and crush Kaito. How ironic.
Wait. You always knew this was bound to happen.
You saw the potential in Hideo that no one was willing to admit. He was now, if not better than Kaito. You only had one thought in your head.
Could he possibly defeat me?
Only time could possibly tell for that outcome, and you couldn't wait for it to happen.
But you weren't done with Kaito because you had other plans for him in this football game, you wanted to see that potential that was still hidden inside of him, and you were the only one who could draw it out from him.
Whether he liked it or not it didn't matter, you knew it was selfish but continued with your plan in motion.
But you wanted to see it for yourself, you were curious.
Suddenly you were out of a trance as you noticed that the other team still fought them as they scored another goal, making it 2-3 their way.
The coach looked at you with a worried face, he had no option now and to bring you on the pitch to restore the game.
Little did he know it wasn't going to be one of those miracles you always pulled off to save the day.
(Kaeda's POV)
"Amazing!! Did you just see that goal Hideo scored?" Ruqa beamed as she stood up from her chair, looking from a better view.
"I-I mean it was alright, whatever," I said, but I must admit that goal he just scored was kind of hot.
WAIT WHAT
What am I thinking, him that guy? Hideo? He was nothing more than a clumsy, dumb, idiotic idiot. Nothing more, nothing less. That seems about right. No way in hell was I ever going to fall for a guy like him.
I looked at Ito who didn't move one bit away from her phone. I was kind of getting annoyed that she didn't want to watch the game but I let it slide.
"You need to get off that phone every once, and a while Ito and focus on the football game," I said.
"Like I said I'm not interested in a game of foot-"
Just as she was about to say something it seemed like the opposing team scored, namely Reo who entered the penalty area gracefully leaving the defenders eating his dust, as he cheekily chips the ball over the goalkeeper's head to score the goal, humiliating our team's.
"They really are good," I muttered, looking at the time, they scored in the 80th minute of the game.
"This team has given us the most trouble in forever it's crazy to think that we'll lose this football game," Ruqa said in disbelief at what she had just witnessed.
"Anyways what were you about to say before we got rudely interrupted, Ito?"
"What I was about to say is that I have no interest in football, whatsoever."
I nodded in response, as I saw Charlie warming up, which I'm guessing he was preparing to play. Whenever he was on the pitch I knew he was the team's king.
He was the one to watch.
"Hey, I think Charlie is getting ready to play!" I exclaimed, out of nowhere you noticed that Ito-san suddenly shot up, switching her phone off.
