(Charlie's POV)
If today could be described in a few words it'd simply be described as,
The calm before the storm.
Kaito and Hideo were nervous in anticipating the upcoming game that was coming up in a couple of days.
You would be lying if you said weren't nervous one bit.
So you decided that we should hang out with the girls and the meeting place was most likely going to be ice skating.
"Yo so how are you guys feeling about this game being the last game for this year aye?" You questioned them, which made the ponder it as well now.
"It's been one hell of a season, crazy how far we've made it together!" Hideo said
"True, it has been one hell of a season and it'll be better if we manage to pull off a win in the finals," Kaito replied.
"Well, it's been a hell of a ride with you guys." You chimed in.
"Agreed." They both collectively said.
You being to wonder where the girls are as you guys have been waiting outside the ice skating place for quite a while.
Luckily for you, your phone got a text notification, it was from Ito. The guys noticed this and went to your phone.
"So what is it? Hurry up and open that message." Hideo impatiently said, you sighed in response as you all saw a picture of Ito, Ruqa and Kaedaall posing.
You all couldn't help but laugh at the photo being taken so you did the same pulling the goofiest faces you could do.
(Kaeda's POV)
We were hanging out in the car having fun and talking about how our day have been as the three of us haven't had enough time to talk normally like this.
It was like being back in the good old times.
Peaceful.
Soon the conversation slowly went up a notch as we soon started gossiping about people in our school girls, and boys but it was mostly centred by you know who, Charlie.
I'd admit it every time we'd talk about Charlie it did sting my heart a bit but I knew that Ito had the decency to tell me about their relationship back then, and even though I cared a lot about Charlie, he cared more about Ito.
And I was fine with that.
If Charlie was happy that's all that mattered, and that made me happy.
But if Ito did break his heart, I wouldn't hesitate to break hers.
"I-I have something to confess."
I whipped my head to look at Ruqa who just said, for a split second you looked at Ito it seemed like she also knew what she was going to say.
"Please I'm sorry I hope we can still be friends after this." She gave out a deep breath as she continued. "I don't know If I had or have feelings, Charlie." She sighed waiting for a shitty response from us.
But instead, we simply chuckled at her.
"You guys aren't mad at me?"
"Of course, we aren't silly it's alright if you like Charlie, I mean what isn't there to like about him." Ito patted her on her shoulder.
"Thank you guys I thought this was going to turn out another way."
"How so?" You questioned Ruqa
"Like you getting angry and that."
