(Charlie's POV)
"You guys have dominated the U-20 Laliga, with only two games to go and once you're done with that you will lift that Laliga trophy. You guys have dominated the Copa del Rey you will lift that trophy. But we must focus on the game now and it's the Semifinal of the UEFA Youth Champions League."
The manager stated."Now you have 20 mins to focus on the game, and Charlie's someone's waiting for you so don't make them wait."
You nodded at the manager, standing up for your seat as you walked outside the locker room.
"Chris, why is it that every time I'm playing a UEFA game you always have someone alongside?" You looked at the person next to him.
"My name is Marc, Marc Snuffy I didn't come here at the request of Chris. I voluntarily came here to see how well you play. I've heard a lot about them say you are one hell of a player I'm curious how well you do against a team like this."
"Marc pretty much summed it all up with his Italian accent, he wants to see if you're all talk, he doesn't believe in what the media says about so why don't you prove a guy like him wrong Charlie."
"Alright noted." You said.
"Look at the time it's time for the match we're going to head for the stands. Only a selected few get to watch these games of yours, but those selected are a lot of good luck, Charlie." Chris gave you one last pat on the shoulder before leaving with Marc.
(Chris's POV)
"You actually expect me to believe that a person like him can genuinely be greater than us?" Marc asked"What? You don't believe in what I say?" I smiled at him.
"Your words are like the media they can be false. I've seen players like him all the time throughout my career and you're one person who believes his good and who else thinks his good."
"Believe what you want to believe but he is a baller. He's the one to watch."
Marc chuckled at my comment.
"You have no idea what Ubers is made out of. Our playstyle and our team philosophy are made to stop the strikers from scoring a goal. We'll block every
chance there gets. They're not getting past a defence like that.""Keep saying that to yourself Marc, just wait and see."
(TIMESKIP)
It's what I did in every game. You waited patiently seeing any opening that you could exploit.Sae was the same as you, his skills and abilities dominated the midfield he knew what you wanted when you wanted.
Calvin was on your left, as a left winger, you could trust his abilities to score a goal when needed after all completely changed his playstyle.
However, there was one problem.
Josh who was on your far right, playing as a right winger had no motivation to play or even to make a run for the ball. He was a liability at the moment. Somehow you would have to give him a sense of motivation.
Sae was making a run with the ball dribbling past his opponents with quick ease if you had realised anything, Sae cemented himself as if not one of the best playmakers of this tournament.
You raised your hand in the air, calling for the ball to be passed by you. Sae looked up only once on the field to deliver a precise ball that landed perfectly on your feet.
Our team had completely dominated possession of the ball. We had conquered their side of their half.
It was now time to make a chance for a goal as Calvin had made space for himself to score a potential goal.
