Chapter 24: Project

AN: I'm thinking of having a few beta readers read my chapters before the chapters actually come out. So I can a gist of what you guys want for the future chapters and the plot itself. (Charlie's POV)

"Quiet down students! I have some things to say. Today will be the day where you and your partner will be tasked today to go out and find everyday things you would do that would be known as change." The teacher said as he wrote the instructions up on the board.

1. You have 24 hours to complete this task

2. Failing this project will cause you to both clean the boy's and girls'' bathroom

3. Rankings will be announced for this task.

"Any questions?" The teacher asked.

"I do." Mei stood up from her chair." "Sir, what happens if your partner turns out to be a lazy sack of shit?" Mei said looking at you, which made everyone around her laugh at her joke. You were yet again as per usual dozing off in class again.

"If that happens then you'll both fail."

"Wake up loser!" She kicked under the table, and the shock transferred to your body, making you sit upright.

The bell rang for home time.

The teachers dismissed you all. You quickly grabbed your bag but it seemed as though Mei blocked you from exiting the class.

"Aren't you forgetting something?" Mei crossed her arms.

"I don't think so, I should really be headed to the school football team practice. I also have something at home to do that's pretty important."

You budge passed her, which Mei gave the most shocked face as she could not believe that someone would budge pass right by her.

"Come back here you loser!"

Every step she made was your impending doom, the steps got louder and louder. Once she had caught up she had given you the most meanest and fattest slap known to man.

"DAMN! That hurts, alright I get it! What is it this time?"

"Boys these days they never remember anything." She shook her head in disappointment.  "Don't you remember that we'll be going out with Naomi to hang out after that incident?"

"Oh that, look I really can't I have a tight schedule today-"

"Shut up. No buts no nothing. If you don't go my little sister will start crying and you don't what that do you?"

She made a pretty good convincing argument, Naomi would cry over anything. One time she cried finding out that the tooth fairy wasn't real, and it took her a while to get over that.

"Fine then I guess I can remove some things out of my schedule but I still have a pretty damn tight schedule."

"What's with your schedule that's making it hard to fit in things hmmm?" Mei asked suspiciously.

" Nothing! Nothing at all, just you know want to get things ready as soon as possible." You chuckled nervously.

Mei left it at that.

(TIMESKIP)

"Hey, Mei?"

"Yes, loser?"

"When you said it was just going to be you and Naomi, I didn't expect your girlfriends to be all here." You sighed.
