Tempest (Payu/Venice X Rain, Love in the air / Kinnporsche crossover)

Chapter 35

After Rain managed to calm down, he washed his face and went to Payu's room. His boyfriend in the bed opened his arms for a hug and smiled brightly as he saw him walking past the door. Rain felt his heart warming at that sight, he sat on the bed and laid his head on Venice's lap.

"I forgot to tell you sooner, the food was delicious" Payu started while playing with Rain's hair.

"Really? I... I didn't do much, Pete was checking me all the time so I don't think that it counts as..."

"Nonsense. If I say that it was delicious thanks to you, I really mean it, unless you want to assume that I would lie just to please you" Venice replied with a jokingly tone.

They remained in that position for a while, Payu noticed immediately that Rain still didn't change his mind after what happened to him, so he did his best to act as caring and loving as possible.

In the meanwhile, Prapai went to his parents house, he walked to the living room and raised the bottle of whiskey to pour some of it in one of the crystal glasses on the silver tray. Just as he was about to do so, Porsche arrived and took the bottle out of his hands.

"You know that I don't want you to drink too much. I can't impede you to drink when you're out with your friends but I can still do it when you're here" he said and sat down, then Kinn arrived and said with a sarcastic tone:

"I can't believe this, our son has decided to honor us with his presence, what have we done to deserve such a precious privilege?"

"Don't act like I don't come to visit you at least once a week... anyway, have you heard about Venice's boyfriend?" Prapai started.

"Yes, I can't believe that he managed to hurt Pete like that. I mean... he was a head bodyguard but he managed to find his weak spot like it was the cover of a book" Porsche replied.

"He ended up in a hospital"

"What? Did he get punched? I would say that he deserved it..." Kinn added.

"No, it is much different. Do you remember Sky?" Prapai started.

"Ummm...Sky?" Kinn said and turned to Porsche, who immediately frowned and replied:

"You should remember your son's boyfriend's name, don't you agree?"

"Oh right, that Sky. Anyway, what did he do?" Kinn asked.

"Yeah, him. He's Rain's best friend. Apparently, Rain was really sorry for what he said to Pete and wanted to fix it, but no matter how good his intentions could be, he failed miserably and got depressed" Prapai explained.

"Well, it is quite normal for guys of that age to have an unbalanced mix of feelings, I still don't see the point" Kinn added.

"He didn't eat anything, thank goodness Pete went to his house to check on him. He was on the floor of his bedroom so he took him immediately to the hospital and forgave him." Prapai finished, his parents looked at each other and Porsche talked for both:

"Son, I understand that what happened to your boyfriend's friend was terrible and if Pete forgave him I guess that we can do it too, however we both agree that he doesn't need an ambassador, he just has to come here and talk with his heart. I'm sure that the whole family will agree on that"

"I'll talk to Venice then, I'm sure that he will find the best way to phrase it. Anyway, I didn't come here just for that... "

"What is the reason of your visit then?" Kinn asked curious.

"I think it is time for me to enter the family business. I'm old enough to try, don't you agree?" Prapai said.

"This choice isn't up to you and you know it very well, we've already had this conversation once and I don't want to repeat myself. I'm not sure that I want my son to become the boss of this family..." Porsche replied.

"Oh come on, you're just like Pete, when will you stop acting like an overprotective mother hen?" Prapai asked irritated.

"Alright, if you think that I'm the only one against it, why don't you go to talk to your uncle, Kim.... He's the leader appointed by your grandfather after all. I'm not so sure that your cousin will give up that easily too, even though I am still the head of the minor family" Porsche finished annoyed and left Kinn and Prapai alone.

"So? Dad?" Prapai asked turning to his father who remained there.

"You've heard him. You know that Porsche has total control over me just like Pete has complete control over Vegas. I won't go against him, especially considering that I may even agree with him on certain aspects of the question." Kinn replied.
