"Vegas, do you have time?" Macau asked after he knocked on the door of his brother's room. Normally he would have just opened the door and entered since he didn't really care about manners with his family, but since it was already dark outside, he didn't want to end up seeing Pete and Vegas playing with their toys.
"Yes, enter" Vegas replied. Macau opened the door and noticed that Pete was there as well, Vegas made a rapid gesture to tell him that he could talk freely so Macau started explaining his theory:
"So, I've talked with Rain for quite a long time today and I think I have an explanation for his recent behavior. I can't be certain, but based on what he said, he has a very good relationship with his parents and they actually helped him quite a lot"
"So?" Pete asked confused.
"Well, it looks like he grew up thinking that he can't do anything without some help. I even found him cleaning the dishes because he thought that he had to prove himself useful. We have all noticed that he tends to be clumsy after all" Macau responded.
"I see... we'll think about a strategy later then, maybe just being with Venice will already help him improve quite a lot. You can leave if you want to" Vegas said.
In the meanwhile, Prapai went to see Kim. He knocked on the door until Porchay went to open the door. He asked his nephew what was wrong and Pai immediately told him that he needed to see Kim as soon as possible. Kim walked out of his office as he heard them talking, he sighed and told him to enter the office and sit down.
"I think it is time"
"Time for what, nong?" Kim asked with his usual calm/I don't give a fuck tone.
"Time to enter the family business!"
"Did you talk to your parents about your desire?" Kim asked.
"Yes"
"And what did they say?" Kim continued.
"That they don't want to. But you're the leader of the family, uncle Kim, you have the choice to say that" Pai replied.
"I'm not going to oppose your parents' choice" Kim replied.
"But..."
"Listen, since you're so stubborn I will ask for a meeting with the rest of the family, I don't want Porsche to hunt me for the rest of the life like a deer in the woods." Kim added to make him go away.
