A guard grabs me from behind, his arms wrap around my neck as I struggle, my hands try to remove his iron grip, but he's too strong.

I look to my right briefly as I see Marcus dodge a punch, two guards have him cornered.

Shit.

The arms wrap tighter around my neck as the guard tries to knock me out, and panic tries to overtake me. I slam my boot down onto the guards foot, but he's too clever and moved just in time.

His body backs into a wall as he uses to support to squeeze me tighter, his hit breath in my ear grunts as I wriggle.

My edges of my vision begin to blur as I see Marcus knock out one guard, his eyes find mine in the chaos, wide and concerned.

Think Y/N!

One last resort comes to mind, so I act quickly. I glance down at the guards arm around my neck and throw my face towards it, like a shark I clamp my teeth around his arm, biting harder until he yelps and lets go.

He stumbles back into the wall, so I the the opportunity to throw a jab into his stomach. He doubles over in pain so I grab his head and bring my knee up towards his face.

He's out like a light.

"Hey, you okay?" A worried Marcus rushes over. I look over his shoulder and notice the coast is clear.

I nod, trying to catch my breath as Marcus holds a hand on my shoulder. The lack of oxygen must have made me delirious because I burst out laughing, doubling over and holding my stomach as Marcus looks down at me.

"What's up, are you crying?" He panics, running a hand over my back as I wheeze.

I shake my head and wipe the tears, "I-I just- I just bit someone!"

Marcus stares at me before his mouth tilts up. He laughs nervously for a few seconds as if he's unsure, but then chuckles and wraps an arm around my shoulder, guiding me to the car.

"Right. Should I take you to the ER?" He mumbles, side eyeing me as I grin.

"Nope, I'm perfectly fine. Other than the fact I bite people now." I chuckle, mimicking a chomp with my teeth.

Marcus's eyebrows shoot to the sky, "Don't go all 28 Days Later on me, I'm not ready for no apocalypse."

I shake my head and punch his arm, "I panicked, the guard had me and I didn't know what to do."

Marcus tilts his head as if to say fair enough. "Well you're standing and he's not, so take that as a win."

I smile as Marcus helps me into the car. "Let's go get you something you can sink your teeth into." He says, patting my head as he starts the car.
